Legend has it that long ago, the god Gestalt rebelled against the supreme god Salsaroa, plunging the world into darkness. Years later, Olivier is a priest of a noteworthy church, who is determined to visit the land of "G", a place whose name cannot be spoken, to search for the fallen god. Along with a strange mute girl, he travels across the land, encountering dangerous enemies, and making powerful friends... all the while, trying to stay alive!
Forget the fashion police or a therapist – the Pinky Street action figure Saki is here to save the day! Mei is a tomboyish girl who would love to spend more time on fashion like her favorite Pinky Street figure, if she wasn’t busy being hassled by her male classmates; Keiichirou is an otaku who collects Pinky Street figures, and who has just been in a fight with a good friend. Both are taken in their sleep to the fabulous Pinky Town, where they are taken to a clothing store, toy store, and have a bite to eat with Saki herself! What other insights await our heroes?
First of all, Magical Play 3D and Pinky Street are both fully or mostly CG, and both are definitely aimed at a younger audience. Colorful characters and backgrounds abound in both anime, and I think fans of one may appreciate the other (though I didn't care much for both).
