Black Bullet

Black Bullet

In the year 2021, mankind was defeated by Gastrea, a parasitical virus, and was forced to live within a wall made of Baranuim monoliths, a metal that is able to subdue Gastrea. Soon, the "Cursed Children" were discovered: children born infected with the Gastrea virus who possess superhuman abilities. Due to the Gastrea virus' intervention, the Cursed Children could only be female. Civil Securities are formed to specialize fighting against Gastrea, operating with the pair of an Initiator, who are cursed children, and a Promoter, serving to lead the cursed children. Ten years after the war, Rentarou Satomi, a high school student and Civil Security member, and his Initator Enju Aihara, receive a secret mission to prevent Tokyo's destruction.

Both have several similar qualities such as Fightning in pairs, the art style, and the characters. The main fighting character in Black Bullet reminds me a lot of Yaya from Unbreakable machine doll. the main characters are similar as well.

Both shows give a familiar feeling with characters and their interactions/relationship with one another.

Both MCs often are involved in political strife (due to their meddlesome tendencies of saving everyone) and their political(supervisors) figure(s) having an active role with the MC.

The action combat is very similar as they both fight in pairs together using martial arts technique or unique items/skills. the MC plays as the "controller" often calling orders, while the other is "supernatural" and plays a uniqie important role.

Both shows have people fighting in pairs. The relationship between the two main characters is similar as well. However, the girl in one show is a little younger.

JunoJoo JunoJoo says...

Both have the male protaganist that "controls" the female lead, or something like that.... both have a younger female protaganist that does most of the fighting. And in both, the main characters try to rise through the ranks, and become #1

main character controlling a little tough girl. if you are into that, then you will enjoy both shows. also both of them are actually quite good and fun to watch, so i recommend watching them.

The character relationship in both are a "Master-Servant" relation ship between Rentarou Satomi and Enju Aihara are the same as Raishin Akabane and Yaya, and how both Rentarou and Raishin dont see there "servants" as "servants" but as actual people.

Not to mention the similar fighting style in the show and how the "servants" fight either with or for their "masters"

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

The foundation of alchemy is based on the law of equivalent exchange; you cannot produce something from nothing. As such, alchemy is bound by one taboo - human transmutation. Four years ago two young brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, broke this taboo when they tried to resurrect their dead mother. During the process Al's body disintegrated and Ed lost his leg. In a desperate attempt to prevent his brother from disappearing completely, Ed sacrificed one of his arms so he could affix Al's soul to a suit of armor. When his missing limbs are replaced by auto mail parts, Ed bears the name of the Fullmetal Alchemist - the youngest ever State Alchemist and dog of the military. Now, alongside his brother, Ed uses his status within the military to attempt to find any way that he can return their bodies back to their original state.

Both anime have a European fantasy setting with steampunk elements. The magic system in both anime are semi-science based. In FMA the science behind their magic is alchemy, while in Machine-Doll it's a combination of magic and technology.

This show has some really great characters and the english accents on the dub are quite nice.  That action and the animation are very well done

Zero no Tsukaima

Zero no Tsukaima

In a world where magic is a reality, the young Louise is at the bottom of her class. Dubbed "Zero" by her classmates at Tristein Academy (due to her zero success rate for magic), Louise (along with all first year students) was charged with summoning a familiar; and instead of a cute magical creature, the familiar arrived in the form of... Saito Hiraga, a normal Japanese boy who was abruptly teleported from his own world?! Can both Louise and Saito come to terms with their new and complicated "relationship" and (more importantly) help Saito find a way home?

I coud say that you get somewhat same fell from bouth animes.Bouth imply familiars. Bouth have a dominant Character wich is the master/pupeteer of the second one;The funny part is that in Machine-Doll wa Kizutsukanai the familiar has feelings for it's master, in Zero no Tsukaima it is the master that shows it's feelings moastly through out the anime, making a tsundere impresion

both are very familar, there is also magic included. the characters are somewhat similar as well. you would like both anime!!!!!!!

Both series are about a young man and his harem of battle dolls who are madly in love with him and help him fight with several enemy.

While Machine-Doll is focused in magic/alchemy with a steampunk touch, Saber Marionette is more about mecha and technology with a futuristic approach.

Both shows feature male protagonists who go out of the way to help others and care deeply about their mechanical companions who happen to be crazy for them.

His dragon has never appeared. Until now, that is. One fateful day, Ash's dragon awakes in full glory, but appears different than any dragon ever seen before—in the form of a beautiful girl! What's worse, Ash soon discovers that this new dragon has attitude to spare, as she promptly informs him that she is the master, and he, the servant. Ash's problems with dragon riding have only just begun!
