Lupin and Jigen were flying home from a diamond heist one day when they ran into Fujiko and a young girl she is escorting. Soon the plane is hijacked, and the perpetrators escape with not only the girl, but also Lupin’s diamond! As it turns out, Fujiko was planning on stealing the book of Nostradamus’ prophecies from the vault of the girl’s rich father – and the kidnappers, the mysterious Nostradamus sect, are after the same prize. Lupin and the gang must now find a way to break into the vault, steal the book, and save the girl at the same time!

If you enjoyed the capers of Lupin and the gang in Farewell to Nostradamus, then you may want to consider trying out Detective Conan. Both anime are centered around the topic of crime and the central protagonists attempting to thwart the evil schemes that are concocted throughout.
After enjoying a camping trip, Conan, Haibara and the rest of the Detective Boys take a trip to the newly-constructed Nishitamashi Twin Tower Buildings - considered by some to be the closest place to heaven. However, when a man is found dead, foul play is suspected; and Conan believes that the organization who poisoned him and turned his body into that of a child's is somehow involved. Meanwhile, Haibara has become suspicious, sneaking off to make phone calls in the night. Could these events be related?
If you enjoyed either one of these feature length anime, then you may enjoy the other. Aside from both being centred around the theme of crime, both of these movies primarily take place in a large and impressive skyscraper.
