Both OAVs are comedies about the lives of a bunch of cute moé girls. And both shows have a similar visual style. Also both shows are make by KyotoAnimation. If you like one you should watch the other.

Also in this short anime the cast consist mainly of school girls and the slice of life comedy is not realy 'slice of life' comedy anymore because 'common sense' is no more: reality is parodied.

Check & you'll see you like this one too.

If you liked watching the interaction between the group of schoolgirls in the Lucky Star OVA, then you may enjoy Hidamari Sketch. Both have slice-of-life humour to them, and while Lucky Star is more 'in your face', you may well enjoy Hidamari Sketch.

Random Parody Power! That would sum up either anime in 3 words.  If you like the humour style of one i guarantee you, you will like the sense of humour in the other.

While SnI makes references in rapid fire to more recent stuff- Lucky Star's  parodies tend to last longer and are of a more timeless nature. 'timotei' ftw!

Watch either for a great laugh!

Her feelings weren't conveyed properly, and before she knew it she ends up helping a particular job of his as an assistant... The series is a shojo manga boy comedy which centers around Nozaki, a high school boy that is a popular shojo manga artist, and has a story woven by very individualistic characters.

Overbearing and obnoxious Tomo just can’t stand to let Chiyo have all the fun though, so she quickly runs off with the camera. From the moment she has control, things are turned upside down in this quiet school. Despite the chaos, all of the girls shine during their short moments of fame. Tomo may be wild, but she manages to perfectly capture the true personalities of everyone on this tape that will be around for years to come... or will it?
