Keitaro Urashima is somewhat of a failure. In order to fulfill a promise he made to a girl fifteen years ago, he has tried time and again to get into Tokyo U but has never managed to pass the exam. However, fate smiles upon him and he ends up working for his aunt, managing an all-girls dorm! Living with the feral Kaolla, the timid Shinobu, the sake-loving Mitsune, the blade mistress Motoko and the punch-happy Naru, can Keitaro keep his focus and keep his promise? Ataru is one of the most desperate womanizers alive, and a man whose life is about to become complicated. When aliens invade, he discovers he has been chosen at random to be mankind’s defender, and must play a game of tag with the beautiful alien princess Lum to decide the fate of the planet! After chasing her with all of his crafty techniques, Ataru finally wins, but his victory also means he must marry the princess herself! Now, with strange alien visitors and a jealous wife to handle, Ataru still manages to keep an eye on his ultimate goal: having his own harem!
Both are similar romantic comedies. Lum and Neru are both short tempered and have a tendancy to be violent. Ataru and Keitaro are both bumbling fools, though Ataru is more open with his fantasies. Both are quality series and well worth the watch. Both series have a host of great supporting charecters with unique personalities.
Yota is a young man who is in love with his friend Moemi, but there's a catch: she's confessed her love for his best friend! Heartbroken, he finds himself in a mysterious video store that offers him Ai, a video girl who can fulfill his every desire. Thanks to his broken VCR, this dream becomes reality when she suddenly... emerges from the TV?! With a real life video girl on his hands to give advice and set him straight, Yota might just stand a chance of winning over the heart of Moemi, and curing his unbearable heartache...
