While Samurai: Hunt for the Sword doesn't feature quite the same caliber of frenetic humor as Love Hina, you'll find the intercharacter relationships to be equally amusing. The main characters in each series have a past that comes back to haunt them... in very different ways... but that doesn't stop them from putting the moves on a woman... or a few!

Sora no Manimani

Sora no Manimani

Years ago, Saku moved away from his hometown, leaving behind his friend and tormentor Mihoshi. As a child, Mihoshi constantly forced the bookish and shy Saku to play and look at the stars; and now, as Saku moves back home to attend high school, he prays for a quiet school life free from her grasp. Unfortunately, Saku’s desires are quickly shattered as Mihoshi catches sight of him and convinces him to join the school’s astronomy club. Alongside Mihoshi, the other club members and Hime - another girl from Saku’s past who’s determined to win him over - Saku continues his dreadfully unordinary high school life with a grimace and positive attitude!

Both anime take a boring yet interesting thing and make a story out of it. With Love Hina it's about studing to get into a university where in Sora no Manimani it takes a look at a school club that focuses on stars. Both anime have wacky interesting characters that make you giggle with the things that they do. Romance is present in both but love Hina focuses a little more on it than Sora no Manimani. Both lead females have a fire to them that makes you want them to succeed in anything they do. Check out one if you liked the other.

Suzuka

Determined to prove himself worthy of her affections, Yamato decides to join the school's track team and show her what he’s got, but things won’t be so easy; for Suzuka has a love interest of her own, and it isn’t Yamato...

Both series consist of the main character chasing after the girl that he falls in love with at first sight. In both series the main character tries with all his will to win the girls heart but somehow falls short with every action. Also what makes these two series great are the awkward moments that arise from the main characters actions that makes the series so funny.
