Synopsis:
The first Christmas of the millennium is approaching and the rumour on the streets has it that if you confess your love on this special day, your wish will come true! And though almost everyone is celebrating the arrival of the momentous event; Mutsumi, Naru, and Keitaro must instead focus on passing their preliminary exams, much to Keitaro's dismay! After hearing the Christmas rumours he just can't sit still and goes out of his way to confess to Naru. Yet nervousness causes him to blurt out the news, causing Naru to run away. With Christmas steadily approaching, Keitaro is now left with the question, "was it just a one-sided love after all?"

add recUnlike its more ecchi and slapstick harem counterparts, the Love Hina Xmas Special focuses more on feelings and keeps only a fragment of the abundant humor the series had. Likewise the AMG Movie uses the same formula: it is a romance where things are starting to work out (finally), yet due to a huge upset the main character MUST take action this time. Since the flow of the anime and the atmosphere of the story are similar you shouldn't let one of these two go unwatched!

With the film club’s script finally being ready, the group travel to a cabin in the forest to make their movie. As he’s easily distracted from his scripted lines, Junpei is ordered to go meet Aya at the train station – but a freak thunderstorm forces the young couple to take shelter in an abandoned house. They’re soaking wet, and the only solution is to remove all of their clothing and wait for the rain to stop. Can Junpei keep his cool and his boxers on, especially as all the panty-clad Aya wants is to huddle closer to stay warm?

add recThe first ichigo 100% OVA and the first Love Hina special have a lot in common ebcause they are the first things to show after the original series episodes. these two share a sign of romance and comedy together. if you liked on im sure you will like the other

add recSuzuka and the Love Hina Xmas Special are quite alike. Both have that typical circumstantial humor that romantic comedies are known for, and both bring out the same feelings of despair and hope in the characters. Though Suzuka is far more dramatic, the Xmas Special does have Keitaro's feeling hitting a brick wall several times to offer a similar atmosphere. On top of that both involve situations you could put yourself in, meaning both are quite realistic.
