both Sakura wars and Raimuro are set in the same "universe" with approximately the same tme period . Also both animes have the same "story" or lack thereof ^_^ with Girls using "spiritual energy" to fight evil in one and Russians in the other. Another similarity is that both are Romantic warstories, set in an alternate history, and the actual enjoyment of the series is girls and mechs slugging it out, humor and the eye candy rather than story/char dev. please note that both series were derived from H games, and thorughly reflect this

Scryed

Scryed

In order to keep the peace on the Lost Ground, the HOLY organization uses its own Alter capabilists to police the region. In the midst of the chaos is a young man named Kazuma, whose life will soon change forever as he discovers his hidden abilities, and how to wield them.

The concept of both series is a bit the same. In both series, the characters have inherited a super power to summon something mecha. In Scryed this "piece of mecha" attaches in some cases to the human being who summoned it. In Raimuiro Senkitan, the summoned "mecha" is completely stand alone. Keep in mind that besides this mecha, the series are way different. Raimuiro Senkitan has lots of fanservice and seems to be alot less serious.

Strike Witches

Strike Witches

Due to an invasion of an unknown enemy, the world is being destroyed. The military force is powerless against the enemy, lives are being taken and the planet is being torn to pieces. However, an unexpected turn occurs when scientists create a weapon known as "Striker", which is the perfect fusion of both magic and modern technology. The group of young girls who will master "Strikers" will become Strike Witches, and with their new magic brooms, they will swiftly sail through the skies in order to protect what is left of mankind...

Military, war of some kind, and specially-trained young girls are the only ones fit to do the job. Lime-iro Senkitan is slightly more ecchi than strike witches but i'm sure you'll enjoy one if you liked the other.
