Synopsis:

Reinhard von Musel is the son of a poor aristocratic family. When moving into his new home, he makes an instant friendship with his neighbour, a boy named Siegfried Kircheis. Together under the watchful eye of his sister Annerose, they live a blessed time; but when his sister is taken away to be the consort of the Emperor, Reinhard is furious. He joins the military - and induces Kircheis to follow - so that he can right such wrongs. Becoming young commanders, they go to Iserlohn Fortress to defend it against the Free Planets Alliance. However, that is not the only threat Reinhard faces - the Marquise Benemude, the jealous ex-consort of the Emperor, is more than willing to threaten the brother of her rival...
