Recommended this for just one reason: Panty shots. Both series are filled with them. While the story of Labyrinth is alot less serious, it contains less ecchi scenes as Agent Aika and is more humorous than Agent Aika. Though if you seriously liked the ecchi shots in Labyrinth of Flames, I can advise Agent Aika. If you didn't really mind the ecchi scenes, but if you are looking something with less plot and more humor, check out Labyrinth of Flames

Studio Fantasia are animators that specialise in pants. Akia is a feast of excellent high motion animation, purely as an excuse to show of as much pantsu as possible. Labyrinth of Flames lacks the fantastic action sequences, despite being the later ova it seems in many ways a technical regression, trying (unsuccessfully) for comedy instead. However, it nearly makes up for it by taking the naked-scrolling-chicks of the Aika eds to the absolute limit, and setting it to Russian opera music. Classic. Watch both on a day when good taste has deserted you, and you're bound to enjoy.

Excel Saga

Alt titles: Heppoko Jikken Animation Excel Saga

Excel Saga main image

F City, F Prefecture: the battleground where good and evil have finally chosen to decide once and for all who will rule the world…or at least that's the general idea! Neither side seems up for the task, as surviving the brutality of everyday life is enough of a chore. On the side of evil is the organization of Across, its only member the loudmouthed and abrasive Excel who struggles just to put food in her stomach; on the side of good, three disenfranchised, unemployed bachelors whose only pursuit in life is romance. Add in alien invasions, jungle warfare, and Mexican immigrant laborers to Japan, and this war doesn't seem likely to be ending soon!

Both are serioulsy nutcase animes. Though while Labyrinth of flames has more ecchi scenes and is alot shorter than the excel saga, the humor in Excel saga is more fastpaced.

Golden Boy

Golden Boy main image

Having recently dropped out of law school, where he had finished the graduation requirements but didn't actually graduate, Kintaro Oe is on a new self-driven quest for knowledge. His adventures will lead him to a variety of workplaces including a computer firm, noodle shop, and even an animation studio, where his seemingly perverse attitude always tends to get him into trouble with the opposite sex. The moral of the story? Study! Study! Study!

No two anime could be so alike as "Labyrinth of Flames" and "Golden Boy". They are both full of ecchiness, funny stupidity and fantastic nonsense; only I guess Galan is luckier with women than Kintaro. Anyways, I'm absolutely sure if you liked one you'll like the other one. :)

If you ar elooking for more idiotic humor in space, without the ecchi scenes, you might probably like Galaxy Angel. If you are more interested in idiot humor taking place on the vast ground and if you like samurais, check out Labyrinth of Flames.

To be perfectly honest, my main reason for liking these two are the fantastically crazy closing themes. However, both Dragon Half and Labyrinth are nice compact 2 episode OVAs that do have funny moments and a little ecchi, so if you enjoy one I'm sure the other will appeal.
