Takamine Kiyomaro is a junior high school student who thinks he’s too smart for school, to the disappointment of his mother. On his 14th birthday a surprise literally crashes through Kiyomaro’s window, in the form of… a small naked child?! His name is Gash Bell and his goal is simple: be a mentor for Kiyomaro, at the request of Kiyomaro’s departed father. In return, Kiyomaro must help discover the secrets behind Gash Bell’s amnesia and his past, with only a red book as a clue. As if things weren’t crazy enough, Kiyomaro soon discovers that Gash Bell is a demon -- one of many on Earth -- who can be forced back to the demon world if its corresponding book is burned. Armed with the power of the red book, Kiyomaro must now help Gash Bell defend himself against other demons who want to vanquish him from the Earth, lest his newfound friend vanish forever!
There's an adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure; but for Kosuke Ueki, one man's trash is another man's... tree?! Junior high school teacher Mr. K is in the running for the title of Celestial King. Candidates must select a junior high school student to endow powers upon, and then the students might fight each other mercilessly. The victorious student's benefactor will become the new Celestial King! Kosuke was Mr. K's choice, and for his power, he chose the ability to turn trash into trees. Furthermore, if he uses his abilities to harm others, he will lose one of his natural talents. Now, Kosuke must battle a variety of other power users to help Mr. K win it all, all while keeping his talents intact!
Gash Bell and Law of Ueki remind me an awful lot of each other, though not for anything tangible. Yes, both are shounen... but beyond that, they each have a similar blend of random comedy, action, and battles. As each of these series is fairly unique in this regard, I think this is a good recommendation. If you liked one, try out the other!
If you enjoyed Zatch Bell you might also be interested in looking at The Law of Ueki! They both share the same basic story element of getting a power and participating in a tournament to become king with many side adventures along the way. So if you like the idea of a teen acquiring powers, getting into lots of battles and entering into a tourtment to become king then Law of Ueki would be a good anime to check out.
In both anime there are a lot of battles that will determine who will be the new king of an world seperated from the human world. there a a lot of candidates that come to fight and they have special powers. So if you like one of these anime you'd like the other one. Zatch bell and The Law Of Ueki have a similar plot, but each anime is unique.
there both similar in the way that the 2 main characters try to become king or win a competition of life or death in order to help someone else. There both extrememly good animes i recomend to watch them both!!!!
Ishiyama High is home to a whole host of delinquents, including Oga, a legendary badass who's downright devilish. One day Oga finds a man floating down a river, after which the man splits open to reveal a baby inside – but it’s no ordinary baby! The cute tot is actually Beelzebub, the future king of the demons! And as Oga is as mean as they come, Beelzebub latches on to its newfound 'father', much to the other demons' dismay. Now, in addition to battling rival gangs and becoming the strongest delinquent around, Oga must buy diapers, comfort and carry around an annoying baby who's more of a devil than he is!
Obviously animations better in Beelzebub and one has many many little demons and one has the son of satan............. stories aren't exactly the same >.> but if you like one you'll probably like the other.
Beelzebub and Gash Bell both have that adventurous feeling while also keeping serious to their task at hand, helping their partner achieve their goals.
Same concept, similar main characters, both are comedy, it looks like Beelzebub is a remake of Konjiki no Gash Bell ;].
Middle school student Tsuna has always gone through life in last place; but when he learns that he is getting a tutor to help him raise his game, he had no idea that his benefactor would turn out to be... an infant and a mafia hitman?! As if things can’t get much stranger, Tsuna then discovers that the powerful Vongola family has chosen him to be its next successor – a position that has control over all mafia families. Joined by friends Tsuna unwillingly starts out on his path to becoming a mafia boss – if he can survive the training!
The characters in both animes change and open up(and gain true FRIENDS) with the help of tutors which are kids(in khm-baby in gash bell about 4-5(not sure)).The main characters also obtain power and fight for becoming the boss(in khm-the mafia boss and in gash bell demon king).
Both animes are pretty similar in many ways but im sure youll like them in different ways! ^^
I think Konjiki no Gash Bell! and Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn! are pretty similar because of the friendship bonds that they have together :)
Both series are very similar, they are both shounen and are light hearted and fun, balancing fighting and comedy very well. The characters in both series are quirky and lovable, they also both have the concept of "Someone coming into someone else's life and turning them from zero to hero" thing going on.
Seven kids are enjoying their summer when suddenly, a digivice appeared before them, and the next thing they know, they are in the "Digiworld." There, they meet creatures known as digimon. There are evil digimon in the Digiworld, but they are not bad in nature; rather, most of them have been turned evil by nefarious forces. Each child had a digimon waiting for them in the Digiworld; and though not all Digimon are strong, the digivice that the seven kids carry has the ability to allow their Digimon partner to evolve into a stronger type. Together, they will going to embark on a journey to save the Digiworld from pure evil and darkness!
This might seem like a weird recommendation, but Digimon and Zatch Bell are similar. In both series the characters are given a creature to use to fight others. In Zatch Bell the characters receive a mamodo and in Digimon the characters are given a Digimon to use and fight.
Zatch Bell and Digimon work in a very similar fashion. Each person is partnered up with a being capable of fighting and sets out on their quests. Should the fighting partner be defeated, they do not die but simply return to where they came from. Both are full of action and comedy.
In an era when ordering on the internet has become the norm, online vendors have a new favorite customer: Sakurada Jun! From voodoo dolls to x-ray specs, there's nothing this middle schooler can't get enough of -- until a strange package arrives one day. Inside is a sentient doll named Shinku, who is one of a special hand crafted set of dolls called Rozen Maiden. Luckily for Jun, not only does he get to keep her, but she's decided he'll be... her new servant?! Join Jun as he struggles to keep his sanity in a house full of dolls who all want his servant skills for themselves!
Each of these anime feature living dolls with great magical powers that are supported by an human "master" or "servant" without which they couldn't use their abilities to their full potential. They also fight against other dolls and their respective master for a somewhat similar purpose in both anime. However, there's a more "gothic" feeling in Rozen Maiden than in Konjiki no Gash Bell!! and less fighting/action scenes but that doesn't mean you wouldn't like one if you liked the other.
These both have a sense that there is a need to fight to reach the top. In Konjiki its to be the king and for the Rozen Maiden yhere is a need to alice the perfect doll. They both work around younger looking children who have powers but to use there powers to the best they must have a master
