Should you watch: skip it

Well interestingly I first started to watch this over a year ago, but once I hit episode 22, I was unable to find 23-26 subbed anywhere. To my surprise the subbing was finished about a month ago so I decided to rewatch this as I was pissed that such a good anime didn’t have its epic conclusion subbed. Then after watching it I understand why. The ending is complete sh-t, one of the most confusing and boring endings I have ever watched.

STORY: Kiss Dum had so much potential and the majority of it was very interesting. Granted the post-apocalyptic world is not an original idea and the concepts of wasps from another world eating people are lame. The ending of it was just so bad that I completely regretted watching it.

ANIMATION: was decent. Above average for something from 2007, but nowhere as clean as it is now.

SOUND: the music goes well with the action scenes, nothing special about the intro/ending though.

CHARACTERS: A good amount of character development, granted some character traits went a little overboard and unrealistic, but there were changes over time.

OVERALL: I give it a 6.5 (bottom 45%). While the first 80% would be ranked about a 8 or an 8.5 with all the interesting action scenes and story line, the last 20% is so poor it ruins the whole thing. If you just want to see some action and somehow watched all the good action animes, then this might be for you, else watch something else.
