If one can set aside the superficial differences between Toradora! and Kimikiss, one may just find that the two have more in common than one may think.

Toradora has a small cast and examines the relations presented thoroughly. Kimikiss has a larger cast, but also deals with more personalities. Both present a situation of reciprocated longing with denial separating two friends.

Both of them are about childhood friends who are almost like brother and sister. But when they have grown up, the question is: are their feelings still the same?

Both animes are really cute and pure love stories. You feel happy when you are watching them.

If you liked Kimikiss, I think you'll enjoy Lamune, and viceversa.

KPR and School Days are very similar I say, It's like same places, stories... and it's almost the same scene each episode only KPR is not for adult... School days is more dark or for adult, specially in the end. For me, KPR is almost the light version of School days. So, check it out.  If you like School days you'll like Kimikiss Pure Rouge for sure (or vice versa).

In Both Da Capo and KimiKiss, one of the main female characters return to Japan from overseas and the main male character is surprised. They get reaquinted with each other and after a few episodes, have their fun. The story gets a lot more dramatic in Da Capo than in KimiKiss but both are enjoyable romantic comedies. I would say kimikiss is a little better in that its not as frustrating and the artwork is slightly better.

Peach Girl

Peach Girl

Momo is loud, shallow, a player, a betrayer, and one to best stay away from -- or at least, that's the misconception people have when they see her makeup, bleached hair and suntanned skin. In reality, Momo just wants the same friends, hobbies and crushes any girl her age would like. However, when her only friend starts spreading rumours about her, her boyfriend starts to doubt her, and the most popular boy in school starts to take a more then friendly interest in her, she'll have much more to worry about than just her appearance!

When watching both of these animes you just have a state of tranquility. They are both mellow animes and enjoyable to watch. Sure Kids on the Slope is more jazz/music oriented while Kimikiss is more romance/school life, but they both come down to friendship to it's core. They both have the dramas of life and bittersweet moments. If you liked one I'm sure you'll like the other

Yuzuki, the girl that showed up on his doorstep one day, stole his heart the next, and then left just as abruptly as she arrived. With the faint hope of rekindling the romance they'd shared, Haruto decides to pursue her, moving away from the rural outskirts of Hiroshima to the big city of Tokyo.

Both shows feature cohabilitation between main characters which lead to romance. Kimikiss approaches this idea with lackluster relationships which end up falling out, and A town where you live focuses more on the idea of not controlling who you truly love.

Perruche Perruche says...

If you liked Kimikiss Pure Rouge or Scum's Wish, you might like the other because they both are drama/romance anime where there is a better than average character development. The protagonists have strengths, inner-conflicts and flows ; like real humans.

Both are emotional roller coaster with a well paced story.
