Murao Mima has created a robot daughter named Key, but after raising her for a very short time, Mima dies, leaving behind cryptic messages telling Key how she can become human. The humanoid is more a cheesy 80s Star Wars knock off and Key the Metal Idol has more violence, gore and nudity, but if you're interested in an artifical intelligence taking on human characteristics then they make a good match.
