This anime is just like Naruto based on friends and friendship which you'll need to accomplish your goals. They both have to undertake 'impossible' quests to protect their friends and be happily ever after! That's why you'd like both these animes!
I think KHR and Naruto are very alike because Tsuna is like Naruto: No good at the start but throughout the anime, you see them develop. They both also think friends are an important part of their life and would risk anything to save them. Hibari and Sasuke are alike: they both don't socialize with other members of their team but they are very powerful and both have negative thoughts and fight a lot. Reborn is like Kakashi: they both teach their team; Kakashi - Naruto; Reborn - Tsuna, and they are both quite funny, serious and extremely powerful but don't show it until later.
Mikoto Shinozaki is a normal high student with unfortunate normal problems: he's terrible at sports, has no special talents and is bullied by everyone at his school. Desperate to gain her affection, Mikoto tries his best to learn how to ride a bike to not look foolish in the process, soon discovering that he actually enjoys the sport! Now, Mikoto will try his hardest to become the best cyclist in the world, encountering hardships, trials and successes along the way.
Both animes have protagontists who are "weak" initially and then though a whole "journey", find their true power and together with their comrades reach their goal. Kinda cliche but it works.
Both Over Drive and KHR focus on a male who slowly learns to fulfill his potential. The main characters are required to look inwards along with relying on the support of his friends to reach his full potential.
An akuma is a soul which has been brought back to life through sadness and despair with the powers of Millenium Earl. Their mission is to terrorize the earth and all who dwell within it. The Black Order is a group of Exorcists that have sworn to cleanse the souls of the akuma, and collect the substance known as "innocence". This powerful substance can be used as an anti-akuma weapon, and ultimately can help destroy the evil Millenium Earl. Allen Walker is a young Exorcist who has the ability to tell who is human and who is an akuma with the help of his cursed eye. Together with the Black Order, Allen must find all 109 pieces of innocence to protect the world and defeat Earl.
Once upon a time, two brothers passed the happy days of their childhood by studying alchemy, which is governed by the equal transfer principle: an eye for an eye -- you can't get more than you give. But these brothers tried to defy that law, and a horrific accident resulted. Now, the older brother, Edward, is called the Full Metal Alchemist because of his metal limbs, and the younger, Alphonse, is a soul without a body, trapped within the confines of an automaton. Together they search for the power to restore themselves, to find the lives they lost so long ago...
Both Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn (KHR) and Full Metal Alchemist (FMA) are very amusing with lots of comedy. They both contain some magic as FMA contains alchemy and KHR contains dying will flames. As for the main characters, they are both very determined and they have a goal in mind. Tsuna and Edward are very alike, they both mess up at times but when they get serious, they are very strong willed. I think both KHR and FMA are very popular anime and I garuantee you will enjoy the other if you've watched this.
Ippo Makunouchi is a loser. He has no friends, he spends his free time helping his mom with work, and he's constantly being beaten up by bullies. But that all changes when one day he's saved from another beating by Takamura, an up-and-coming boxer. Soon, Ippo turns his life around with a passion for the newly discovered sport, but his new lifestyle is far from easy! Before he can even dream of becoming champion, he'll have to overcome a slew of fierce rivals and learn what 'dedication' really means.
Both Hitman Reborn and Hajime no Ippo involve the classic clashes between bullies and the hero who tries to find himself and rise above all. Though Ippo has a lot stronger of a character journey than Tsuna, since his power is not "given" to him by some "tutor" or "genie", but rather is hard earned by diligence, hard work and perseverance.
