Shirahama “weak legs” Kenichi is a typical high school student with typical problems: he’s frequently bullied and tends to run away in the face of his enemies. Things change when Kenichi meets Furinji Miu, whose grandfather runs a dojo; and not knowing what he’s getting himself into, he signs up to become a disciple. As Kenichi’s life-threatening training continues and he becomes more and more powerful, he inadvertently becomes the target of the deadly gang called Ragnarok. With mental and physical challenges ahead, can Kenichi survive his encounters with Ragnarok, or will the masters of his dojo get to him first?
Both Hitman Reborn and Kenichi involve the classic hero journey with a main character who rises from being bullied to a hero. They have a lot of similarities due to the fact that both characters are "tutored" by an "expert".
Both of these series center around a boy training to reach his full potential under the extreme, and often comic, tutelage of their masters. The battles in both series are serious, though, and serve to show how far the boys have come in their training.
Both series are about good-for-nothing school boys who suddenly face an opportunity to change themselfe with some halp of extraordinary persons. The effect is easy to predict so I won't spoil anything. I'll just say that their advantures are very funny and worthwatching. If you liked one you'll like the one i recommend for sure.
Both of these shonen series focus on weak young men who gradually become stronger. They have a strong focus on maritial arts training and fighting. They also both have regular "everyday" episodes. In addition both have strong engaging plotlines that rarely let up. The best about both series is the focus placed on the lead maturing as the series progresses. If you liked one there's a good chance you'll like the other.
Long ago the infamous Gol D. Roger was the strongest and most powerful pirate on the seas. As he was about to be executed he revealed that he hid all of his wealth, including the legendary treasure known as One Piece, on an island at the end of the Grand Line - a treacherous and truly unpredictable sea. Monkey D. Luffy is a spirited, energetic and somewhat dim-witted young man with a very big dream: to find One Piece and become the Pirate King! However Luffy is no ordinary boy, as when he was younger he ate one of the Devil's Fruits and gained its power to become a Rubber Man. Now in this grand age of pirates Luffy sets out to gather a crew and sail to the most dangerous sea in the world so that he can fulfill his dream... and maybe even his appetite!
One Piece is an anime that's about friendship and friends you need to protect. In One Piece there is an captain that has to protect them all and in Hitman Reborn it is the new Vongola Boss, Tsuna, who needs to protect them from time to time, and of course, sometimes the other way around. That's what's so simular between these animes and that's why you'll love Hitman Reborn.
Every time I watch both series I feel a kind of strong similrity between them: the ones need to protect, the strong relation between the main characters, the wonderful comedy, the great action, and the main point is that One Piece is giving its unique view of pirates, and so do Hitman Reborn with the Mafia. If you enjoyed one of them, be sure to watch the other!
It's a great adventure anime, I really enjoyed both and liked both :). I hope you will too! They both evolve around a GROUP of characters, and not only one main character who gets stronger etc. They ALL get stronger. They both have comedy in, which is always good for an anime :)
Enjoy them both :D
Ichigo, an ordinary high school student who is tough in a fight has just one unusual trait -- he can see ghosts. One day he is attacked by a hollow, a vengeful spirit, which would have killed him except that he was saved by a girl named Rukia. She is a Shinigami, a guide to the afterlife and slayer of evil spirits. Unfortunately many hollows want to devour his spiritual power and Rukia is hurt fighting to protect him. After giving her powers to Ichigo so he can save himself, she finds she can't take them back. Now Ichigo has to do her job. He is now a student -- and Shinigami!
Bleach is an anime that also bases on friendship just like Hitman Reborn. The lead character will eventually develop and get stronger to defend his friends just like Ichigo is getting stronger to defend his friends. That's why you'll definitly like this Anime. It's also very humorous which makes it even better.
Designs are very similar. The fillers can be boring at times, but the serious arcs are quite good, with nice battles. Very charismatic chars
Sena was always a weak child, constantly having to run away from bullies; so much, that he became good at it. Now, as a teenager, Sena’s skill at running has become so impressive that the diabolical mastermind of the school football team notices his talent and recruits him. Yet to keep his privacy intact and his dangerous hobby a secret from his overprotective childhood friend Mamori, Sena is forced to develop a secret identity: the ace running back, Eyeshield 21! But the world is full of talented rivals, and Sena has a long way to go until he can reach the top...
I think the first thing you'll notice more than anything if you've watched both of these is that the main characters look identical. That aside, they do share many similarities. In Eyeshield 21, Sena is a guy constantly made fun of who joins the football team and becomes its ace. In Hitman Reborn, Tsuna, another guy who is constantly being made fun of at school (btw... EVEN THEIR NAMES SOUND THE SAME!), takes up the job of becoming the successor of the Vongola Family, a mafia family from Italy. The subjects of the anime are pretty different, but the character designs will definitely remind you of both anime because of some of the outrageously-designed characters. I don't know if they are or not, but I wouldn't be surprised if Eyeshield 21 and Hitman Reborn are made by the same people.
Well, both anime are comedy action/sport. Main characters are similiar in both looks and characters. They are funny and enjoyable story's that are good to watch after some heavy series Berserk/Gungrave/ X TV. And most of all they are a long running series, Eyeshield has already 130+ eps and Hitman is closing in to 100 episodes.
Naruto Uzumaki is a young ninja who bears a great power hidden inside him, a power that has isolated him from the rest of his village. As such, his only dream is to become the Hokage - the most powerful ninja, and leader of the village; but first he needs to graduate! With his inability to perform even the most basic ninja techniques, it seems that all Naruto has going for him is his determination to succeed no matter what. Teamed up with the genius Sasuke, book-smart Sakura, and their team leader Kakashi, Naruto embarks on his quest to become the Hokage. But with outside forces posing a threat to the entire Hidden Leaf village, Naruto discovers that he must become much stronger if he ever wants to realize his dream and protect the friendships he's forged.
This anime is just like Naruto based on friends and friendship which you'll need to accomplish your goals. They both have to undertake 'impossible' quests to protect their friends and be happily ever after! That's why you'd like both these animes!
