If you liked the Kanokon anime, the Anime-Planet community thinks you'd like:
The Kawahira family specializes in dealing with troublesome spirits with the help of inukami, strong dog spirits that take human form. Members of the family are expected to make pacts with strong inukami in order to fulfill their duties, but their family has a black sheep: the perverted Keita, who charges people for his help. His inukami, Youko, is dedicated to make Keita completely hers. Her favorite form of punishment for him when he strays is teleporting him into the city completely naked. He's been arrested for indecent exposure so many times that he's a jailhouse regular, and is considered an outcast by his family and normal society; yet an inukami of the highest caliber chose to be his partner?! Is there really more to him than perverseness?
Having watched Inukami! all the way through, I can say with confidence that Kanokon has all the elements as Inukami! Both lead females are spirit foxes, and not to mention scene after scene of that ecchi stuff we always look for!
Both Kanokon and Inukami have female girls that are really spirit foxes and both of them have a considerable amount of ecchi, so if you liked one then you'll like the other
Takasu Ayako can handle anything; duels with foreign powers and assassination attempts don’t faze her. But can she handle falling in love? Fellow students at the prestigious school for Beatrice users are shocked to hear that their "Angel of Death" Ayako, who has never even shown a smile before, has fallen in love at first sight with the diminutive freshman Yoshimura Mamoru. Mamoru must decide how to respond to the sudden confession of love, the resulting fascination of his fellow students, and the dangers of being near Ayako. Will his own powers ever measure up?
The whole environment of both series is quite similar. While Kanokon is a 110% ecchi comedy, MnMnSw! goes with romantic comedy. I think you will enjoy both series if you liked one!
Girls crazy inlove with guys, Mamoru-kun less echi and more serius but in other parts very much the same, as far as I have watched, sry for recommending before finishing;)
Everyone around Kousaka seems to adore cats, but due to his allergies the teen can’t stand them. So when he wakes up one day and can hear what every feline is saying, Kousaka is annoyed to say the least. His new “gift,” it seems, is the result of accidentally breaking an enshrined statue of a cat; and what’s worse, Kousaka must atone for his sin and appease the vengeful spirit by aiding one hundred kitties-in-distress, or become a furry feline himself! Now, amidst helping various cats with mundane and trivial issues, Kousaka must try to dispel the jinx and attempt to salvage his self-respect – not to mention his love life - along the way.
both series deals with animal deities, both are harem romance comedy, both are ecchi, though kanokon sometimes pushes it to borderline hentai. if you like one there's a big chance you might like the other.
I agree that, in similarity, Nyan Koi! and Kanokon are fairly parallel with each other. I admit that Nyan Koi! is a fair bit more comedic than Kanokon, and Kousaka is a much more enjoyable protagonist than Kouta; but we all know what's really great about these series: the girls.
Here is where Kanokon really delivers. Its got sex appeal in spades, where Nyan Koi! keeps it in the shadows...literally. Ahh, can't wait for those DVDs. Give these shows a chance and they will be sure to capture your attention.
Recently, beautiful girls have begun to disappear from a local high school, and it’s up to Aika to go undercover and determine the reason. Alongside Karen, who can’t seem to stop herself from looking up recently-defeated enemies’ skirts, Aika investigates the white-wearing school council and discovers that they’re abducting all beauties for mysterious purposes – and it has something to do with beams of light that emanate from the evildoers’ bodies. Who are these villains, and what do they want with all of these voluptuous, shapely girls?
Having failed to earn admission to a university, Hideki Motosuwa has moved to the big city, determined to study his hardest for next year's exams. However, an unusual distraction presents itself one unsuspecting day in the form of Chii, a robotic young girl that has been discarded in the trash. In a world where an increasing number of people turn to these 'persocoms' for company, the bonds and limits of human relationships are tested as flesh manages to fall in love with the machine itself...
Chobits is a great anime to watch if you've watched Kanokon. In Chobits they have much humor that is 'adult' like and is quite ecchi but doesn't necesairily have nudity but comes quite closs a few times. It is a great anime and i totally advise you to watch it if you watched this anime, because it has a better story line ^_^
