Watching Jigoku Youchien quickly reminded me of  Osaka Okan. The animation in both is very simple and cheap, episodes are short, and the humor is very similar.

Two of the main characters, Namika and Sakyuba, are also similar; they share a voice actress, they make weird sexual comments towards the lead males, and their personalities are similar.Although the settings are different, both shows have the same "feel"/comedy, and fans of one would probably enjoy the other.

Chibi Devi!

Chibi Devi!

Honoka Sawada is a lonely fourteen year-old girl who has no friends at school and spends her nights alone - that is, until one day she wakes up to find a fire-breathing baby named Mao in her bed! After meeting the mysterious principal of the Chibi Devil nursery, Honoka learns that Mao is in fact a demon baby, and she is now his surrogate mother. With only her anime-obsessed childhood friend Kyou and his hot-headed pal Shin to rely on, Honoka decides she can’t possibly look after a child and asks the principal to find a replacement parent. Now, until a substitue can be found, Honoka will have to spend the next month looking after Mao, but will she be able to cope?

Looking for another show about demon toddlers? Try Chibi Devi! It takes a more realistic/shoujo approach to taking care of demon babies, and is much better than Jigoku Youchien in every way.

Both of these are comedy shorts with a similar sense of humor. Neither has a plot, and each episode is little more than a few jokes crammed into a few minutes. If you liked one, you may enjoy the other.
