Kagome is a normal high school girl who falls into a well, transporting her back in time to the feudal era. Upon her arrival to this world, she mercifully unleashes Inuyasha, a half demon. As if this isn't enough, she also discovers that she is the bearer of the Shikon no Tama, a jewel of great spiritual power, a jewel which has just shattered into a million shards. Now, along with Miroku the priest, Sango the demon hunter, and Shippou the mischievious fox-demon, they must set out to find the Shikon shards and defeat the evils of the demon Naraku.
Tohru Honda is a compassionate girl who is down on her luck. Her mother having recently died, she has been forced to camp out in the woods for shelter. However, things start to turn around once she is invited to live with class hunk Yuki Sohma and his family... but all is not as it seems! Yuki's family is burdened with a dark curse which causes them to turn into the animals of the Chinese zodiac once hugged by a member of the opposite sex... and Honda may be the only one who can help them.
Both Inuyasha and Fruits Basket have a girl as a main character and are liked by more than one guy. The main characters also end up with the guy that does not usually show that they like her very outwardly.
both anime's deal with a young girl who has changed the lives of people around her and vice versa. noth kagome and torhu keep the secret of the true lives of there friends. the characters also have some like qualities, such as Inuyasha, and Kyo, and Miroku and Shigure. also the love problems in the story are quite similar to each other
Both anime are about a girl that finds out about a boy's secret, and that needs to keep it with her life. Both girls will love the boys with their lifes. And the boys all have issues in love showing affairs.
At least that's how I see it..the animes are two worlds apart, but with slight touching resemblemses.
The responsible Sophie led a relatively normal life, safe within the walls of the hat shop in which she works; for outside, it is rumored, the evil wizard Howl roams the land in his mobile black castle. After a chance and mystical encounter, poor Sophie finds herself transformed by a spell which makes her appear to be an old woman, and thus embarks on an adventure to find Howl’s castle and put an end to her curse. A mystical world of talking flames, sentient scarecrows and magic aplenty awaits those who seek the legendary Howl...
Both Howl's Moving Castle and InuYasha are about a young and fairly normal girl who finds herself suddenly caught up in the unbelievable world of magic, curses, demons, and other strange creatures. Both stories focus on the magic and demons, the girl's struggles to cope, and the love that inevitably blooms from it all.
Howl’s Moving Castle and InuYasha are both about a young girl that gets caught up in a magical world of fantasy with cursed demons. There are encounters with strange creatures and demons along the way. Both series are more on the innocent side while the main characters try and cope while trying to find love.
Love, Adventure, Magic, Comedy, and Action all share similar roles in these two animes that follow a young girl's dream for a more exciting life. Though not a perfect match many may find these two complement each other well and find content in Howl's more conclusive ending.
Sumimura Yoshimori is a Kekkaishi – an inheritor of the power to battle demons, using barriers called kekkai. His family is charged with protecting the grounds of Karasumori high school, a building which magnifies the power of demons who enter it. Helping him are his spirit-wolf companion Madarao, and next door-neighbor Yukimura Tokine, the daughter of a rival clan. Years ago, Tokine was injured protecting Yoshimori, and now he is determined to become strong enough to keep her from being hurt again. Of course, he'd rather bake his exquisite cakes than have to fight demons at all, but fate has something else in store! As a shadowy demon organization moves to steal Karasumori's power, can Yoshimori overcome legions of demons, a centuries-old family rivalry, and a grandfather who just can't understand his love for baking?
Kekkaishi is a bit similar to Inuyasha since the main characters have to fight ayakashi and other supernatural creatures like Inuyasha and the others. Also the male lead wears the same outfit as Miroku.
Both fall into the category of a shonen anime, and both deal with battling as the main subject for each episode. Also InuYasha, and Kekkaishi each share trace ammounts of Romantic feelings between the male and female protagonists. However Kekkaishi's romantic side is much more like a light crush. If you like one, you will be sure to like the other.
In the mystical world of Shangri-la, demons and humans live side by side, watched over by a parthenon of ancient Chinese gods. But when normally-civilized demons start to go berserk, the gods require the services of Genjou Sanzo - a Buddhist priest with a magical gun, an evil-banishing scripture and a take-no-prisoners attitude. Aided by the ancient monkey god Son Goku, the half-demon Sha Gojyo and the demon exterminator Cho Hakkai, he sets off on a treacherous journey westward, with armies of demons, dark mages and angry gods all standing in his way...
they both have demons (and half demons ^_^) and ofcorse humins they both are - action, adventure, comedy etc... they are bothe verry good & if you like one you will most likely like the other
Both tell an epic journey to stop an evil demon (Naraku-halfdemon) from taking over the world. Along the way collecting items (Inuyasha-sacred jewel shards Saiyuki-holy scriptures) so that they can't be used for the other's dark purposes. Each containing humor and side journeys of some of the characters.
Meet Lina Inverse, a mighty sorceress who fights evil in the name of... greed, gluttony and black magic?! When she meets Gourry, a swordsman whose skill with the blade is rivaled only by his stupidity, Zelgadis, a grumpy sorceror who's been turned into a golem, and Rezo, a priest known for his benevolence (with a dark secret), you know her adventures are just beginning!
So there we are - in a fantasy world, with many dangers awaitng, from thieves to powerful deamons. And here, there is a group of friends trying to achieve their goal, overcoming troubles and making their way using magical powers that they have been given. Both anime are adventurous stories about friendship with similar sense of humor and interesting plot.
With the big adventure undertaken by the characters in InuYasha and Slayers the fantasy world in each is full of demons to defeat and dangers to outrun.
