Busou Renkin

Busou Renkin

Some things in life are so bad that you'd like to pretend they're just a dream. Unfortunately for Kazuki, trying to save a strange girl from being brutally killed by monsters (and ending up dying instead) is an unfortunate reality. Out of pity, the girl replaces Kazuki's heart with an alchemy-based artifact known as Kakugane, so that he may live on. With this strange device, Kazuki gains the power of Busou Renkin -- Arms Alchemy; a power that will come in handy when monsters (and worse) begin to plague his town! Kazuki soon meets the girl from his “dream” (named Tokiko) in reality, and she tells Kazuki to get on with his life; but with his sister and friends in danger, that might not be possible. Besides, if Kazuki gives up the chance to show off just how manly he can be, how can he hope to win the heart of the alluring older-sister-like Tokiko?!

The characters are similar in a reverse kind of state than the leads of Inu Yasha. There is alot of plotline, twists, and slaying of monsters *humunculi* like in Inu Yasha.

Both of these anime are about a modern Japanese high school student who is teleported to a dangerous fantasy world. Both Kagome and Arata are given magical powers and they must travel around this new world, along with new friends, to help save it. They both have a similar feel and I think if you enjoyed one, you'd enjoy the other.

These two titles are both similar because their plots revolve around a girl who falls in love with a man from a land far away from her own. Just when these girls think they have gotten close to the guy that they like, they realize they are part of a love triangle.

Even though both of these animes have different settings, they have some similarities that might make you want to watch one if you liked the other. They both have a great cast of character with their own unique powers and personalities and these characters group together to fight random demons and their main goal is to destroy the "overlord" controlling these demons.
