Gokudo is an adventurer who lies, cheats, and steals to get exactly what he wants, until he steals a magic sword. After a comedic lesson in humility and the prospect of riches and women, he embarks on a quest to save the world of magic. Travelling with the slime-ball Gokudo are royalty, fantastic creatures, and even gods.
Gokudo and Inuyasha are both VERY similar, both characters have swords, both have the same attitude(basically they both need want some kind of personal gain when doing a job), and when I first saw Gokudo(the character) I thought: Why the heck does he look like Inuyasha?
Some things in life are so bad that you'd like to pretend they're just a dream. Unfortunately for Kazuki, trying to save a strange girl from being brutally killed by monsters (and ending up dying instead) is an unfortunate reality. Out of pity, the girl replaces Kazuki's heart with an alchemy-based artifact known as Kakugane, so that he may live on. With this strange device, Kazuki gains the power of Busou Renkin -- Arms Alchemy; a power that will come in handy when monsters (and worse) begin to plague his town! Kazuki soon meets the girl from his “dream” (named Tokiko) in reality, and she tells Kazuki to get on with his life; but with his sister and friends in danger, that might not be possible. Besides, if Kazuki gives up the chance to show off just how manly he can be, how can he hope to win the heart of the alluring older-sister-like Tokiko?!
Seven years ago, Kakeru’s sister killed herself, leaving him alone. In the fantastical land of Amawakumi, a succession ceremony occurs each 30 years to pass control of the kingdom to a female heir of the Hime clan. But three decades ago, the Hime clan was unable to produce a daughter and was warned that if history repeated itself, the entire clan would be purged. Now faced with the same problem in the present, the Hime clan opts to send their disguised son Arata to the ceremony instead, unaware that he’d be sent into a trap where the former princess is murdered and the boy would be framed for the crime. Meanwhile, on Earth, Hinohara suffers a similar sense of betrayal at the hands of his classmates, and after wishing he could just disappear, he and Arata switch bodies. Now, as Arata struggles to find a way to return the two to their own worlds, Hinohara must try to escape capture, clear Arata’s name and fulfill this princess’s last wish by exposing her killers.
Both of these anime are about a modern Japanese high school student who is teleported to a dangerous fantasy world. Both Kagome and Arata are given magical powers and they must travel around this new world, along with new friends, to help save it. They both have a similar feel and I think if you enjoyed one, you'd enjoy the other.

These two titles are both similar because their plots revolve around a girl who falls in love with a man from a land far away from her own. Just when these girls think they have gotten close to the guy that they like, they realize they are part of a love triangle.
