I thought it was very interesting how both Inuyasha Movie 4 and Laputa feature hidden islands and something strange and magical about each of them.  The main characters have to work together to overcome the powers that the island holds and the magic the island has.

InuYasha and Ranma are produced by the same person although with a different style of animation. The humor is the same in each though I personally think that the animation in InuYasha is better than that of Ranma ½, it also seems to be more in depth.

Full Metal Panic!

Full Metal Panic!

Gonzo does it again with this action-packed mecha comedy. She's an ordinary high school girl. He's a counterterror agent assigned to protect her from those who would steal the information locked in her mind. OK, so she's not so normal after all. Armored Slave battles and lovers' spats abound as Sousuke and his comrades try to track down the mysterious Gauln before it's too late.

The positions of the main male characters involve having to go around and protect the heroine of the series in InuYasha and Full Metal Panic. Both hero’s’ seem to be reluctant to do so and the series are filled with hilarious undertones.
