Both are action ecchi focused animes with an uncensored version for boob goodness. Both feature great humor interwoven into a solid story that makes good use of sterotypes. Demon king is has a bit more focus in it's storyline, but high school dxd goes a bit further into the erotic/ecchi side of things. Both are great easy watches and highly recommended if you like one you'll definitely like the other!
If you liked Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou (Demon King Diamou) or Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon (Horizon in the middle of Nowhere) you'd like the other.
In Ichiban the main character right away has straight forward goals, which is against the will of everyone else. He wants to be a priest of the church and wants to help everyone; and a oracle-like hat tells him that he is going to be a demon king; which is obviously against what his goals are.
In Horizon the main character is a total male-slut (lack of vocabulary to say). You find out that he only has one person who he loves, Horizon who is a girl that died when he was young. Everyone wants to fight his idea that Horizon will come back, he wants to tell her he loves her.
Bottum point, they are good shows. Watch the recommendation.
Half a year has passed since Muneakira and his busty, battle-savvy friends fought valiantly in a fierce battle, and now, Muneakira is returning to Yagyuu Dojo after embarking on a journey to train his skills. But little did the man expect that Yukimura, Jubei and the rest of the gang would have turned the dojo into a maid café! What's more, past foes have been resurrected, and they have their sights set on Jubei. With new girls – and animals – to make contracts with and action at every turn, life at Yagyuu Dojo is more exciting than ever.
So, you liked the first half of Ichiban but didn't care for the more deeper plot of the second? Look no further than Samurai Bride! With twice the perversion and half the plot of Ichiban, Samurai Bride doesn't focus on "plot" or "characters" or "depth", but focuses on fanservice, boobs, jigglness and more fanservice. One doesn't need to watch the prequel to know the going-ons of the sequel so feel free to jump right into the cleavage but just remember: You're only here for more fanservice.
Kazuki Shikimori is a 17-year old junior studying at Aoi Academy, an elite school for the magically gifted. However, unlike enrollment to the school would suggest, his magical prowess is below-average. In fact, he can only use magic eight times in his life, or he will die. But not all is lost: Kazuki's family tree includes the latent genetic material for magical greatness. After that information leaks out, Kazuki suddenly becomes the most popular male student in the school, and girls from powerful magician families begin chasing him to get his genes.
These two animes are very similar. Both Ecchi, but Maburaho is very on the slim side compared to Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou. Also both Harem with lost of girls being attracted to the main character. The main character is a guy. The guy seems weak at first but turns out to be really strong. The only main difference is that in Maburaho the main character is portrayed to be a bad guy in the public's eyes.
