If you liked the I''s Pure anime, the Anime-Planet community thinks you'd like:
When Seara was a young girl, she pledged her love to the older Shuhei Seto. In a whimsical tone, Shuhei promised he'd wait for her to grow up to be a beautiful woman, and would then give her love a chance. Now, four years later and through a twist of fate, sixteen year old Seara is living with Shuhei, his sister Koharu, and their parents, though Seara's identity is unknown and unremembered by her longtime love. With steep competition for his heart as well as a lacking chest size, Seara must do everything in her power to win the heart of the man she loves!
In Baby Love the heroine Seara is trying to get the hero, Shuhei Seto, to notice her. Likewise in I"s Pure, Ichitaka is trying to get the girl of his dreams, Iori, to notice him. Whereas I"s Pure takes a more serious tone and involves more mature issues which could arise in a high school setting, Baby Love is a more innocent drama that is nice to watch for its warm feelings.
Having failed to earn admission to a university, Hideki Motosuwa has moved to the big city, determined to study his hardest for next year's exams. However, an unusual distraction presents itself one unsuspecting day in the form of Chii, a robotic young girl that has been discarded in the trash. In a world where an increasing number of people turn to these 'persocoms' for company, the bonds and limits of human relationships are tested as flesh manages to fall in love with the machine itself...
Bloody noses all around! Each series tends to deal with high school related scenarios where the main character is stuck on what to do next. Chobits is more based around a futuristic setting of robots and high-end technology whereas I’s Pure is more of the issues found currently in relationships. Both have a little ecchi in them too.
Yuichi is a teenage boy who was diagnosed with hepatitis; and as staying at the hospital is boring, he often sneaks out at night to hang out with his friends. However, each time he is caught by the slightly sadistic nurse Akiko, he just prolongs his stay at the hospital. After his most recent escape, instead of striking a punch or kick at Yuichi, Akiko says that she'll overlook his sneak outs if he becomes friends with 17-year-old Rika, another hospital resident. Rika doesn't open up to him at first, but she has her reasons: she has a weak heart; and though she may come off as selfish and rude, Yuichi looks beyond the surface to help both of them enjoy what life has to offer.
At some point in your life, you may have to come a decision about a person you deeply care for: whether you take the matter upon yourself or entrust it to faith. The moral values seen in I''s Pure can also be seen in Hantsuki and if you are longing for a emotionally-driven story with characters to match, then Hantsuki would suit you well.
Manaka Junpei is an average guy who has only two dreams in life: to become a filmmaker and to find the girl of his dreams. Luckily for him, after a chance encounter on the roof of the school, he has a lead on the girl! She was wearing strawberry panties. Unfortunately, he can't figure out which one of the five girls chasing him it was; but he gets plenty of chances to find out the color-of-the-day in his Cinderella search for his one true love!
Both anime have the same kind of humor. If you laugh watching I''s, you would laugh even more by watching Ichigo 100%. Another similarity is the main protagonist dilemma of "which one of this girls should I choose". Lots of funny situations connected with love are in both.
Fuguno Masuo is a person who doesn't have much luck with the ladies -- mildly put. All through high school and college, he has failed to have a girlfriend, and when he is foretold by a fortune teller that he'll never, ever get one, he is utterly crushed. But when he meets the beautiful Nagisa, his heart is set in motion for the first time. However, he'll have to compete with the charming and handsome Kaizuka, and the rich real-estate broker Kujira…
I"s Pure and If I See You in My Dreams involve sweet budding romance. I think you'll enjoy this if you like the other because the characters fill somewhat similar roles, and the events that occur are executed in the same style. It's romance at its best. If I See You In My Dreams has loveable characters and the love story is just too sweet.
