Kazuma and his little brother Ayumu have arrived at the countryside, eager to begin a new life at the Yorozuyo Inn – a place that Kazuma once visited as a child. There's fresh air, running water and relaxation – a perfect place for the sickly Ayumu to recover. But the pair's arrival is anything but uneventful, what with getting lost, Kazuma meeting and accidentally kissing the lovely Ui in the woods, and enraging her protective friend Ibuki in the process! Now, with a less than ideal first impression on his new classmates and more beautiful women popping up around him each day, Kazuma certainly has his hands full with misunderstandings and budding romances!
After losing their parents, twins Haruka and Sora travel to the countryside to start a new life. The two soon meet new friends in the shrine maiden Akira, wealthy Kazuha and well-endowed Nao, amongst others. As the days go by, Haruka learns more and more about the new ladies in his life, all the while being a patient confidante and good friend, leading him into their hearts, as well as their loins. Meanwhile, Sora can't help but have a recurring memory of her brother kissing her as a child…
In both anime the protagonist moves into a new town with their sibling that they care about the most. Eventually before they know it they become the center of a romance story involving many girls. Although yosuga no sora has a lot more ecchi in it, both stories feature a complex love story.
In both of these series the protagonist is comming back to a town that he once used to live in, and faces many challenges with old relationships as well as new relationships that are beginning to grow. Both of these series have many characters that begin or are in love with the protagonist, which makes Hoshizora and Yosuga no Sora a good watch.
After being stood up during a date on Christmas Eve, Junichi’s confidence took a critical nosedive. Two years later, he’s now a second year high school student and ready to give love another chance. Will he fall for the beautiful and popular Morishima, mischievous childhood friend Kaoru, shy and timid underclassman Sae, dependable class president Tsukasa, hardworking underclassman Ai or his gluttonous childhood friend Rihoko? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure: Junichi is determined to make his next Christmas Eve date a successful one!
In my opinion Amagami SS is a step up from Hoshizora E Kakaru Hashi, wheter it's suspense, tension, or even the semi-ecchi scenes, Amagami delivers. The protagonist from both animes are very similar in looks, attitude and innocence. A great watch for harem/romance fans.
Maebara Keiichi, an ordinary high-school boy, has transferred to a new school in Hinamizawa, a small rural village. At the outset everything seems peaceful and Keiichi becomes friends with a nice group of schoolgirls with whom he spends many idle summer afternoons. Suddenly violence encroaches upon the blissful peace of the village and Keiichi becomes entangled in an endless cycle of fear and death. The inconsistent, but inevitable horrors of Hinamizawa are told and retold becoming an endless and inescapable nightmare of insanity. Will it end even if the mystery of Hinamizawa is solved?
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Hoshizora e Kakeru Hashi both take place in a warm, cicada-cry filled, surrounded-by-wilderness location. As you delve deeper into each show, the aura of the town and woods begins to feel off and creepy, due to events in the past episodes. Though one includes violence whereas the other, not in the slightest, if you enjoyed one of these shows due to the slightly-off atmosphere of the setting that they both have and develop, you will enjoy the other
It's been seven years since Yuuichi Aizawa returned to the city he once lived in as a child. Though many things happened to Yuuichi in his past, he can only remember bits and pieces. His parents left Yuuichi in the care of Akiko once again, and this time, he will attend the same school as his cousin Nayuki. Many different girls appear before him, and some of them seem to know him from his past. Yuuichi must now recover his memories of the dark secrets that he erased from his heart, before he loses his precious ones.
Both are very funny and, well they're just typical harem animes. I recommend this to anyone who likes the same story (which is a bunch of girls and 1 guy) with different characters and scenery.
