Well, the reason I recommend this anime as they both have the lead character moving to a new place, new school and everything and both animes are harem. Other than that, the story changes after every 3-4 episodes in which the story continues with a new girl. Though of course, Higurashi no naku koro ni is more of a gory anime while Yosuga no sora is more drama.
While watching yosuga no sora I constantly got a feel of Higurashi.
Aizawa Ayumu is spending the summer visiting his father in the quiet, rural town of Tana; but before long, he begins to notice that things aren't quite right. Flowers are blooming out of season and stories of ghosts and kappa abound, but for Ayumu, the strangest thing of all is the appearance of mysterious creatures who take the form of floating balls of light. Adding to this mystery is Wakkun - a boy who seems to be connected to the lights and claims to know Ayumu from the past. Now, Ayumu begins to search for the truth about the lights and Wakkun, as a summer like no other begins...
If you like watching an anime about moving to a strange town, you might like Zettai Shonen. Both animes have a male character who moves to a mysterious town with mysteries. The towns of Zettai Shonen and Higurashi are both old-fashioned with traditions. Both towns also have a festival that hold significant meaning to the plot.
