Even though Murder Princess is based in a medieval type of period and Hellsing is based in present day england they still hold similar styles. The weapons of old time in Murder Princess are basically weapons that we use now or what they use in Hellsing. Though for the main characters one is a crazy vamipire and the other a girl who likes to fight they are similar in certain ways. Alita doesn't mind getting splattered in blood and sometimes it looks like she enjoys it. Both animes have a good amount of gore, violence, and good dose of Action. The story lines may not be 100% similar but both are enjoyable. If you like Hellsing then you might like Murder Princess.
