La Corda and Harukanaru are shoujo titles that present romance with a little bit of fantasy. Though both titles claim to be romance, little really goes on with the development of the main character's relationship with another guy. The protagonist is, at most, normal and naive. I think the biggest similarity is the similar presentation of one girl being surrounded by a whole whack of bishies!

Being the insignificant heir to a talented family is rough, especially for someone who has little of his own talents and honestly desires to live up to the family name. Masahiro is the young grandson of the famed Abe no Seime. Although most consider him to be little in the face of his older male relatives, Masahiro is certain he can not only continue the family legacy but that he can stand in his own right as an Onmyouji. With the assistance of his friend Mokkun, he works to increase his skills and abilities as a spiritual protector and guide. With a great deal of will and the quiet assistance of his insightful grandfather, he will become a force of good in the battle against encroaching evil.
Both series take place in medieval times. They are based on legendary fights of priestesses and monks (miko and onmyouji) against evil creatures and vengeful ghosts. Masahiro and Yasuaki are both disciples of famous historical onmyouji Abe no Seimei. If you are interested in this traditional japanese esoteric science, you can observe their methods in very popular and enjoyable way.

Kantarou, the main character in Tactics, is very similar to the character Yasuaki in Harukanaru Toki no Naka de. Both are able to purify things and exercise demons using a combination of hand signs, chanting, and a beaded necklace. They have also both "tamed" a tengu, though the tengu Haruka from Tactics is an angsty bishounen character, while the tengu from Harukanaru Toki no Naka de is an obnoxious chibi character that provides comic relief.
