Considering Harukanaru is almost like a carbon copy of FY, it seems reasonable that you'd like this as well. Definitely doesn't boast the same beautiful graphics, but is a very enveloping fantasy story, which Harukanaru sorely lacked. If you liked Harukanaru for its premise and feel, you'll like FY too.

Harukanaru and FY are both about a girl who falls into a new world, becomes a priestess, and gets handsome guys to protect her. If you like reverse harem anime, I would recommend them both!

If you enjoyed either of these for god knows what reason, you'd probably enjoy the other. Whether it's the animation or the fantasy storyline, who knows? I think it's a good match.

Both Angelique and Harukanaru Toki no Naka de ~Ajisai Yumegatari~ are about a young girl who arrives in a new world. She has to go on a quest and is helped out by some handsome guys. If you like one of them, I think you might like the other as well.

Looking for a short, somewhat unoriginal fantasy romp with beautiful graphics? Look no further. Gestalt and Harukanaru both have that in common -- a fairly empty but still beautiful watch.

The Twelve Kingdoms

The Twelve Kingdoms

Yohko is nothing but ordinary. Throughout her life she has been considered an outcast, especially with a hair color not native to many in Japan, bright red. Yohko and two friends are then taken through a vortex, and then abandoned.. in a world of demons and magic.

Juuni Kokki is a much, much better series in the same vein of plot, which is actually explained and is epic in nature. If you are looking for a good fantasy series after watching Harukanaru, I can't see why you wouldn't enjoy this.

InuYasha

InuYasha

Kagome is a normal high school girl who falls into a well, transporting her back in time to the feudal era. Upon her arrival to this world, she mercifully unleashes Inuyasha, a half demon. As if this isn't enough, she also discovers that she is the bearer of the Shikon no Tama, a jewel of great spiritual power, a jewel which has just shattered into a million shards. Now, along with Miroku the priest, Sango the demon hunter, and Shippou the mischievious fox-demon, they must set out to find the Shikon shards and defeat the evils of the demon Naraku.

The feeling that you get from watching Inuyasha is similar to that of Harukanaru Toki no Naka de ~Ajisai Yumegatari~. Some of the characters in InuYasha resemble some of the characters in Harukanaru Toki no Naka de ~Ajisai Yumegatari~ (or the other way around =P).
