If you liked the Happiness! anime, the Anime-Planet community thinks you'd like:
The guardians’ lives have been somewhat quiet lately, as X Eggs have stopped appearing. But just when the gang start to question whether Easter has given up on the fight for the embryo, a new type of X Egg appears and the battle begins once more. Amu has a lot to worry about – not only with the appearance of the new X Egg, but also the anxiety of wondering if Dia will ever hatch! Above all else, will Amu finally be able to choose which guy she truly likes the most?
Shugo Chara!! Doki and Happiness! are both shows that are really excited about their titles, but that's not why I'm making this connection. These two series follow girls with magical powers as they work to make the world a better place. I think Happiness! fits better with the second installment of Shugo Chara than the first because Doki was more light-hearted and had less tension than the original.
In a modern world, magic has become a service industry. From transforming a house, to arranging an article in the newspaper, no job is too big or too small for a mage, who are thought of highly in the public eye. Kikuchi Yume, daughter of a famous mage, has finally reached the age of apprenticeship, and must move to Tokyo to find a mentor. Under the tutelage of the esteemed mage (and nightclub owner) Oyamada Masami, she will learn what it means to be able to bring magic to others' lives.
Both are melancholy stories of modern, everyday magic. The main difference between the two is that Happiness is more of a high school romance with a bit of a plot arc to it, while Someday's Dreamers is a bit more of a character study and seems to deal more with the day-to-day of post-school life.
