Okay so the plot of both of these animes are completely different!! But the main characters are what make these animes similar in a sense...both are strong independent women at very young ages and are able to make rational thought out decisions and speak their minds. Though they are young they have the minds of a person at least twice their age and command attention. I feel that because of this you will like both of these anime!
After defeating the Spirit of the Sacrea which prevented the newly born Seijuu Universe from developing, Angelique hears that the Queen of Seijuu Universe – the one who maintains the stability of nine Sacrea - has disappeared. Moreover, she cannot go back to her home universe because the dimensional corridor connecting both universes has been destroyed. The Seijuu Universe is still in danger and Angelique is left alone without the support of nine Guardians. What should the Legendary Etoile do to find the Queen and bring her back?
Looking for a great and captivating reverse harem anime? then Koi suru Tenshi Angelique and Hanasakeru Seishounen are very much alike. In both animes we see strong willed female protagonist surrounded by protective male characters (reverse harem).Even though there are many differences between this two, Angelique is more centered on a fantasy aspect and Hanasakeru Seishounen is concentrated more on political aspects but even so this two are very much alike. If you like one of this two then for sure you will like the other one as well.
It was a time of political instability. While most of Europe was involved with power struggles, the island country of Kuchen followed its own independent path; and with the leadership of an intelligent king and his advisors, the people worked to restore their kingdom. These advisors, with strong minds and good backgrounds, were graduates of a prestigious boarding school known as the Rozenstolz Academy. Follow the lives of the five students with the potential to become the king's next advisors (known as the Strahl candidates), as they strive to achieve their dreams.
Both series are concerned with an imaginary country and its set of problems with a set of charming guys (in one way or another) trying to solve these problems. They don't lack tansion or action and if you're a fan of anime about politics you shouldn't miss any of these.
In the 24th century, the planet's fossil fuels have been completely consumed, forcing humanity to use solar power as the primary source of energy. A huge solar energy system orbiting the planet was eventually built, anchored to the Earth and providing it with power through three orbital space elevators. As a result of the expense of such a large-scale project, most the world consolidated into three factions: the Union, the Human Reform League, and the AEU. Despite their common reliance on the fragile orbital elevators for energy, however, humanity still continues to constantly fight wars and build up arms. A paramilitary organization called Celestial Being, equipped with incredibly powerful mobile suits called Gundams, fight in order to force humanity to unite and eradicate armed conflict.
Gundam 00 is a shonen mecha anime set in the future with giant robots and advanced solar technology. HanaSei is a shoujo about a game of arranged marriage for a young heiress.
On the surface level, these are two very different shows. However, the political intrigue present in Gundam 00 is one of the reasons why I view it in higher esteem than other Gundam series. In the same regard, Hanasakeru Seishounen is much more of a political mystery about power play in a volatile Middle Eastern country than a romance story.
Gundam 00's arc about Azadistan is very similar to Hanasakeru's plot. Both series deal with a fictional Middle Eastern country dealing with impending civil war caused by an energy crisis. The protatgonists of both series are idealists from outside factions who have a hidden relation to the country that's facing conflict. Coup d'etat, religious extremists, foreign interference, a tense political atmosphere, multinational political gambits - common elements of the two series.
Gundam 00's plot has a broader scope involving many more conflicts in other locales than just the Azadistan crisis while HanaSei focuses on one conflict. Hanasakeru Seishounen's story starts out a bit vapid with lots of fluff and humour but turns out more serious as the political intrigue unfolds. If you've watched Gundam 00 and want to see the Azadistan arc drawn out to a full series, wish there was romance and loved the political side of the plot, you might want to try Hanasakeru Seishounen. If you've watched HanaSei and don't mind forgoing the romance for more politics, watch Gundam 00 for a dose of that and some action-packed mecha battles.
The fantasy world of Arcadia is in peril: fierce monsters known as Thanatos are sucking the life from humans, and only men known as Purifiers can vanquish them. Angelique is a young girl who attends Melrose Girls Academy and thought her life was normal, until the dashing Nyx told her that she has hidden powers within. After a brutal attack by a Thanatos, Angelique finds she is able to help in the battle and heal those who have been sucked dry; her powers are real, and she discovers she is in fact the Queen's Egg - the only female Purifier. With the help of allies such as shoot-em-up Rayne, the happy traveler J.D. and Silver Knight Hyuga, Angelique will learn about her powers and help put a stop to the Thanatos.
Neo Abyss Angelique and Hanasakeru Seishounen both have the same type of feel to them. The heroines are strong willed characters trying with all of their might to do the right thing. It does not hurt that both of these females also just happening to be surrounded by extremely good looking guys in the process!
