Tsuchida has just started working at the Hanamaru Kindergaten, and, as the first and only male teacher at the school, he’s particularly nervous. Unfortunately his first day doesn’t go quite as smoothly as planned as not only does Tsuchida turn up late, but then a small girl named Anzu claims that he hit on her in front of all the parents! Though he manages to initially clear up the misunderstanding, at the beginning of his second day, Anzu proclaims that she will be his bride and that her mother, Tsuchida’s senior in high school, is supporting them all the way! Now as Tsuchida attempts to become the best teacher he can be, he must also try and quell the rumors that he is dating Anzu, and maybe win the heart of the beautiful and kind, yet ultimately clueless, Yamamoto-sensei…
Self-professed lover of all things small and cute, Souta Takanashi finds himself dragooned into working at the Wagnaria family restaurant by the diminutive and vivacious Poplar Taneshima. Though the pay is reasonable and the clientele polite, the high school student is often at his wits' end when dealing with the quirky staff. If the indifferent and street-tough manager, katana-carrying floor chief, and terminally weak Poplar weren't enough, Souta frequently fears for his life, as every encounter with the violently androphobic Inami ends in injury. How long can he survive before the combined stress and harm do him in?
When I first started watching Working!!, the first thing I noticed was that Takanashi was obviously Tsuchida after wandering into the wrong anime. And while many other characters are also similar, the two male leads are the most noticable.
If you are looking for a comedic slice of life about workplaces, these two shows are for you. The main characters in both shows are similar in appearance and in that they get dragged into things easily. There is romance in both shows, so really there is something for everyone.
These two animes are so much alike, their style of anime looks exactly the same. Their plot is somewhat the same. Even their main character looks like they could be twins!
Although the situations and environments are different, both of these series share a similar style both of comedy and animation.
Hanamaru has much younger characters, but the range of personalities is also somewhat similar between the two shows. The two main characters from each show could easily be mistaken for each other, both in terms of personality and appearance.
If you enjoyed one, you should enjoy the other.
If you like one of these then you'll probably like the other because both series just have this happy feel to them that makes them relaxing to watch. The main point to each series is the comedy that they provide that will get a few laughs out of you no matter who you are. Each series also at times tend to get somewhat serious but they never last long before they each get back to the laughs. While Hanamaru Youchien has a male lead who becomes a kindergarten teacher and Working!! has a male lead who is a server they each display a certain lifestlye that a person can lead and some challenges that they may face.
With a slight draw of romantic style Hanamaru Youchien and Working!! Have a similar characteristic style. The two series focus on the lives of characters in the work environment and the troubles that go into their everyday lives. Needless to say if you see either of these series, the two main characters could be twins.
One day, the typical Sunao Moriyama found something not-so-typical in his refrigerator: a small creature between the potatoes and mayonnaise that he dubs Potemayo! Sunao decides to take care of Potemayo and takes her with him everywhere he goes, and as a result Potemayo quickly becomes popular with Sunao's classmates. However, the tranquility of the new friendship is broken with the arrival of another creature from Sunao's fridge – this time a scythe-wielding laser-shooting horned creature he dubs Guchuko. Now, every day brings new adventures and surprises with Potemayo and Guchuko around!
At first, these two animes have really similar characters. For example Potemayo and Anzu. Similarities don't go only for appearance, but also for their behaviour and character. Art in both animes is similar too, thought Potemayo has less detailed background. You can find lots of other common features, like jokes.
So if you liked one of those two, you'll like another one for sure.
Potemayo and Hanamaru Youichen are similar when comparing it's cast of characters. The main hook for both series' are that they involve small story events (with no real depth) of chibi-like characters with a lovable, eccentric approach. Enjoying one will ensure you'd enjoy the other.
My main reasoning behind this rec is that both of these series are incredibly cute and feature tiny, adorable protagonists. While Hanamaru actually features humans as opposed to whatever Potemayo actually is, they both give off the same sort of easy-watching, comic vibe.
If you liked Potemyo or Hanamaru Yochien, you'll like them both. Both anime are very cute and a lot of fun to watch. The characters are cute and funny. Also, some characters are similar, like potemayo and anzu, Tuchida and Moriyama. I recommend both anime very much!
Satoshi Yabe is the newest employee at Kamohashi Elementary School. Wide-eyed and enthusiastic, he’s thrilled to finally be fulfilling his dream of being a teacher – but little did Satoshi know that he’d be assigned to class 6-3, a group that houses none other than the violent and perverted Marui triplets! Between the girls trying to hook him up with the busty school nurse, dealing with the unfortunate consequences of a hamster named 'Titties' and other misadventures, Satoshi’s dream of an uneventful school life has come to an end!
If you enjoy Hanamaru Youchien you may also enjoy Mitsudome. The two shows have a similar set-up and type of humor. The shows both use a male teacher with three young girls; and at least one girl puts him in situations that make him seems like a complete pervert. Though Youchien does have romantic elements from the children, that Mitsudome does not have.
If you are looking for cute fun series Mitsudomoe and Hanamaru Youchien are great for each other. Each involving little kids each with their own unique personalities and sense of humor. The male teachers are drawn into many humorous misunderstandings along the way, solely because of the kids around them.
I like to think of Mitsudomoe as 'what happened when the kids in Hanamaru Youchien got older'. While Hanamaru only alludes to a more adult edge from time to time, Mitsudomoe goes all out, guns blazing, and nothing is sacred! Both shows focus on schoolgirls and the innapropriate situations they find themselves in, more often than not with the involvement of their slightly inept male teachers. So if you enjoyed one series, I'd recommend giving the other a try too!
One day, a young kitten was on a walk with her mother and siblings; but soon she became separated from her kin. Struggling to find her way home, the kitten soon ran into a young boy named Yohei and his mother; and out of pity, the duo takes the kitten home with them. Unfortunately they discover that they are unable to keep pets in their home, and thus begin a quest to find her a new place to live. From playing with shoelaces to being washed, the cute kitten named Chi will have fun and get to know her new family – though all she really wants is to make it home to her feline mother.
Both Chii's Sweet Home and Hanamaru Youchien are targeted at younger audiences, but are so enjoyably sweet and funny. Chii's Sweet Home is especially funny for cat lovers, and Hanamaru has great moments for those of us who still remember our little days with wonder. Check them both out, you won't be disappointed!
Both animé are very family friendly and really cute. If you like cuteness you should watch this
Aoki Daisuke is a fresh, new elementary school teacher, eager to help shape and guide his young students. But he got more than he bargained for with Kokonoe Rin! This saucy third grader has knowledge beyond her years, and a deep-seated mistrust and loathing of adults. She will go to any lengths to protect her friends Kuro and Mimi, including harassment, extortion, threats, and sexual blackmail. And yet, with her friends, she is kind, caring, and self-sacrificing. Can Daisuke gain Rin's trust and save her from her dark side without falling victim to it himself?
If you enjoy Hanamaru Youchien you may also enjoy Kodomo no Jikan. The two shows have a similar set-up and type of humor. The shows both use a male teacher with three young girls; and at least one girl puts him in situations that make him seems like a complete pervert. Though Kodomo takes the eichii-ness quite a bit further than Youchien does.
Kodomo no Jikan is basically the ecchi version of Hanamaru Youchien, Although Both Animes have different audiences they are both similar in many ways; A student falls in love with a teacher who is new to the job and puts him in a place that makes him seem like a pervert, the student who falls in love with the teacher has two best friends who she asks advise about how to get him to like her, the personalities of the best friends are that ones really shy and the other just wants to look out for the girl who is in love. These are just some examples of what the animes have in common. both the animes have similar types of humour and are both set in a similar environment.
