then again, these two series deal a lot with the differences between rich people and not so rich people. Also the main characters, the boy in Hayate no gotoku and the girl in HYD, have sometimes to pay huge debts or need money to live on and the rich person always help them out. Also the personalities are very different, the rich guys always get what they want that's why it's hard for them to understand each other. If you add to this the love story and the continous twists and misunderstandings, you get that both animes are very similar, you'll surely like one if you liked the other, though hayate has a lot more of comedy.

Ai Monogatari: 9 Love Stories

Ai Monogatari: 9 Love Stories

Young love remains in the hearts of so many; and it is this love that is explored within nine stories. A man meets his first love again -- a wild girl from his youth that was into the Beatles; a high school Rugby manager meets the team's star again after so many years; a salaryman falls for a mobster's girlfriend; and another leaves his small-town love to live life in a big city, and meets a girl that resembles her ten years later. Relationships aren't always as simple as just loving someone; sometimes it takes time to learn how to love.

I think anyone who liked the drama and romance from either anime would be captivated all over again. At the same time I see similar artstyle that reflects the early 90's animation. The music was fun, and familiar.

The main theme of these anime is not quite a simple love-story. Both series have dramatic and humorous parts always make you feel the situation and leave in hopes that everything's gonna be alright. Here is also the school theme.

Both series talk about friendsheep and romance. We can find here a dramatic lovestory, where the hero is involved in a triangular situation. The main chacters can't understand their feelings in time or deny them till the end.
