Evergreen would be a peaceful and prosperous place – if it wasn’t under siege by bandits. While on the hunt for an underage hacker, Faye is the sole witness to identifying a man who causes a tanker explosion that leaves people up to three miles away in comas. The bounty that ensues is the largest the galaxy has EVER seen, 300,000,000 wulongs. It's up to Spike and the gang to solve the mystery of this strange disease, and to stop the assailant at large, for failure would result in all life on Mars being eliminated on Halloween night.
Both main characters are the cold silent type, solving problems with fighting prowess rather than words.
Both have an innate lazy streak and both will love no other than the one they each lost.
Dante works as a demon hunter for the office of Devil May Cry, and as he is always in debt he doesn't have the luxury to turn down jobs as long as they pay well. His latest assignment is to be a bodyguard for the young Patty Lowe while she receives her inheritance. During the mission he was able to defeat the demons that got in his way and deliver Patty safely, but upon completion of the mission Dante discovers that Patty will be staying with him – indefinitely! Now, Dante must not only hunt demons and coexist peacefully with other hunters, but also handle the responsibility of taking care of a little girl!
These two heroes are nonchelant don't care about much on the outside, yet hide a desire to do what's right. They also have young nuisance girls tagging along they would rather just go away. Although the girls begin to grow on them. These guys are your typical "not much is a challenge" kick ass fighters, that find not everything is simple and not everyone is as they seem. As both animes unroll, the viewer finds out more about the past of the main character which ads vital twists to the plot. Dante and Van seem to be very lazy, yet whenever needed, thrive on the action that comes their way. Hope you enjoy both of these shows.
Naota Nanbada is a boring young boy who leads a boring life in a boring town. His older brother has left for America, and the closest he comes to any excitement is when his deadbeat dad has too much sake. But things change one day when a bizarre girl zooms up to him on a scooter and smacks him in the face with her guitar. What's more, once Naoto returns home he discovers that this strange woman has arrived ahead of him and moved in! Not only does she constantly engage in perverted activities with Naota's father and flirt with the young man himself, but she also claims to be an alien who is searching for the ‘Pirate King.' Now, Naota must learn to live with this new intruder, deal with an odd government agent who sports exceptionally large eyebrows and the mysterious Medical Mechanica, and come to terms with the fact that there are a variety of robots and weapons emerging out of his head - amongst other things. Perhaps boring wasn't so bad after all...

Brandon Heat and Harry MacDowel were best friends who lived by the law of the street, until one day they picked a fight with the wrong people and their life of freedom was suddenly taken away. With no one to turn to and nowhere to run, the choice to join Millenion, the city's most powerful syndicate, seemed like an offer they couldn't refuse. Just the mere look at the animation remind me of each other. Many of the same voice actors are used in both as well. Both also seem to have a moment where it shows you how deep a character's madness has become in each episode.
In the year 2010, an environmental disaster has decimated the human population, leaving the remnants struggling to survive. Out of these rose an oppressive and wealthy ruling class, the Logos, who live comfortably in their special economic zones while the majority of humanity struggle and suffer in the ruins of the past. Two men, Katsuragi Jo and Tsurasawa Hitoshi, desert their military unit 'Phantom', taking with them a mysterious little girl. Why did they side with the resistance they once helped suppress, and what’s the significance of this innocent young girl?
I got the same feeling from watching both these anime's, I quite enjoyed them both really much. I highly recommend if you enjoyed one you should try the other.
They are a mecha/Military anime, So if your completely against mecha this will not be suited for you.
