Scryed

Scryed

Some years into the future, a strange, unexplainable natural disaster has broken off a piece of the Japanese mainland. Known as the Lost Ground, it is now inhabited by people with Alters -- machine-like extensions of their own will. In order to keep the peace on the Lost Ground, the HOLY organization uses its own Alter capabilists to police the region. In the midst of the chaos is a young man named Kazuma, whose life will soon change forever as he discovers his hidden abilities, and how to wield them.

If you liked the vibrant colors and animations style of Groove Adventures Rave, you'll like Scryed. The action is just as packed, but Rave is geared a slight bit more towards young teens I think, but it's still really good and the underlying plot is much better than Rave.
MechaTama31
Both these shows are action-packed, with explosive and exciting battles in nearly every episode. THey also have very similar feels as far as the setting goes, though RAVE is more lighthearted and comedic by far. A little romance, a little comedy (or a LOT for RAVE) and a heckuva lot of action. Basically, Scryed is sort of a midpoint between RAVE and Evangelion.

Soul Eater

Soul Eater

In a bizarre fantasy world, students known as meisters are trained at the illustrious Shinigami Weapon Meister University; but the tools they wield are no ordinary weapons! Each meister is paired with a human-like being who can transform into a weapon at will; and after defeating a pre-kishin - a human whose soul has darkened - the weapon eats the soul within it. A meister's ultimate goal is to collect ninety-nine pre-kishin souls and one of a witch so that his or her partner will become an all-powerful Death Scythe. Maka and her partner Soul Eater; Assassin Black Star and his partner Demon Blade Tsubaki; and Shinigami's son Death the Kid and his partners the Demon Twin Pistol Thompson Sisters each vie for their ultimate goal, but plenty of challenges and adventures lie in their way!

Rave and Soul Eater are very shounen, very action-filled romps that appear to have come straight out of a video game. The mood and feel are very similar and overall I think this is a good match.

Even though neither Rave nor Beet floats my boat, I feel it's safe to recommend these two anime for each other. In an adventurous world, one is seeking out power to destroy \ evil-doers. Adding a bit and humor with the fights, the atmosphere is very alike. I guess what differentiates them from the typical adventure anime is that they don't develop a deep story and are aimed more towards younger teens.

Blue Seed

Blue Seed

In the present, Japan is under assault by murderous creatures known as Aragami whose origin and purpose remain unknown. The fate of Japan and the world itself lies with one young woman named Momiji who bears the burden of the Kushinada -- the one who must be sacrificed to silence the Aragami forever. With the help of Mamoru Kusanagi (a human and Aragami hybrid), and an agency filled with firepower-toting bodyguards, Momiji must use her Aragami-sensing powers to help save mankind; but will she ultimately have to lose her own life to save the lives of so many others?

Groove Adventures Rave has a similar story to Blue Seed, with a "save the world from evil and destruction" type of feel. Only, in Groove a  sword is used instead of hand-to-hand 'seed' combat.

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo

Tsuru Tsururiina, the evil dictator of the Margarita Empire has sent his elite troops to Earth to snatch every last hair on the heads of the unsuspecting populace! Both series are located in a fantasy world, as well as having really odd and random humor. Though where Rave at least has some sort of plot, you will not see this in Bobobo.
