In the world of politics, public officials are abusing their power and using the citizens' hard earned money for their own whims - be it extortion, payoffs, or worse. To combat this problem, the Japanese government created their own version of the FBI: an independent agency with tremendous resources, the Government Crime Investigation Agency! Jotaro Zaizen, GCIA agent, is a manly man who uses a variety of manly means to take down the corrupt and the unjust. With his super-legal privilege Zainers Gold Black card and his trademark saying "da bomb," Jotaro will do whatever it takes to both get the job done and win the ladies.
Eleven-year-old Chizuko Mikamo is a victim; she is aware that her cruel relatives have been slowly poisoning her, but she can't do anything to escape her fate except starve herself. Luckily for her, the infamous thief, Twenty Faces, has arrived to steal her household's most valuable treasure: Chizuko herself. Alongside Twenty Faces, Ken, Skipper and the rest of the gang, Chizuko travels to exotic lands and strange places in search of valuable treasure. But, as she soon discovers, there's much more to the mysterious Twenty Faces than she could ever have bargained for...
Zaizen Jotaro and Chiko are led by manly men who have to get their manly jobs done - often upping the cheesy ante singlehandedly. Admittedly Zaizen is FAR more schlocky than Chiko, but both have a similar feel regardless.
Duke Tougou - otherwise known as Golgo 13; he's loved by the ladies, hated by his enemies, is enamored with firepower, and can take out a target from several kilometers away. With an arsenal of weapons at his command, Golgo 13 is hired by a variety of people to take down hijackers and more - but he also must protect himself against those who want to take down the legend himself!
While Zaizen Jotaro is remarkably more campy than Golgo 13, both have one important thing in common: they each star a manly man who does manly things. Women, power, aiding or assisting crime - these guys do or have it all.
The manly Toriko is an avid food lover who’s able to catch any delicious morsel with ease. Thus, when Komatsu, the head chef of Hotel Gourmet, approaches him with the job of finding a rare Galara Crocodile, Toriko springs into action! The two make their way to the Baron Islands in search of their tasty prey, but what they find there is more than they bargained for! Who will be eaten, the duo or their dinner?
I like Toriko WAY more than Jotaro, but both involve seriously manly men who do manly things. Jotaro does police-type work, while Toriko hunts down delicious morsels. Both will have you laughing heartily.
