Both series follow a School life type genre based around each series individual clubs. They both pretty much just follow random events which take them no where. Whilst Yuyushiki is a little more literal in the "random" aspect and GJ does have a small side of school to it they are actually quite a like and i think the comedy isn't all too different either. If you enjoyed one of these it's fairly likely the other will appeal to you.

Jinsei

Jinsei

When bespectacled Yuuki Akamatsu joins his school's 2nd Newspaper Club, he finds himself caught in the crossfire between three pretty panelists assigned to the Life Advice column. Rino Endou has a mind for science, Fumi Kujou loves literature, and Ikumi Suzuki covers the world of sports. If students have questions that need answers, these are the girls to ask, but cute as they may be, these panelists never seem to agree on anything! Needless to say, navigating life in the 2nd Newspaper Club is gonna be more than poor Yuuki bargained for!

They're both slice of life and comedy. Both basically have clubs about (daily) that start talking about daily things in their daily lives. Both have the reverse harem as well.

Each as well have that type of girl who likes food, the other the quite, smart, type so they there own type of personiality as well. And of course they have that ONE tsundere KAWAII girl that'll you love! (depends).

Cute Girls doing cute things, both are slice of life Comedies for a School Club which says a lot.

The only difference seperating the two is the appearance of a male in GJ-Bu and how vibrant GJ-Bu is.

CotGHC has the classic anime visual, and the entirety of characters are female.

Although GJ-Bu is a much better show, Its worth watching both if this is what you are into.
