Get Backers and Yu Yu Hakusho both employ characters with magical abilities and call upon the paranormal and solve crimes and mysteries. While Yu Yu is more of a 'fighting to save the world' kind of anime while Get Backers is more of a 'fight because that what we were hired for' anime both are fighting for strong founded reasons. Action, comedy, and cool fighting sequences make up these anime

Akunen

Get Backers and Yu Yu Hakusho both have a colourful cast, and each character has a unique power at their disposal. Both contain plenty of action, and there is a balance between comedy and the actual storyline. Though Hakusho is longer and uses much more action, you should enjoy one if you liked the other.

Both Zombie Loan and Get Backers are about a duo of two unlikely partners brought together by a common goal, as they both work unusual jobs by today's standards to earn some cash.

KiraRin

Zombie Loan is a highly underrated series that holds a lot of similarities with Get Backers. They both have a very similar comedy/seriousness balance that is used well.

If you enjoy the unsual pairing and ensuing hilarity of Ban-chan and Ginji in Get Backers, you will love the relationship between Chika and Shito.

Both have some exciting action scenes, interesting characters and look at the true value of friendship. Just a shame Zombie Loan was so short and almost cut off in its prime...

Both series are based on fighting.  The characters in Flame of Recca use weapons whereas the characters in Get Backers use their own elemental powers.
