Both Genshiken and Kuromi take a good look at the anime world. On top of that they both throw in some funny moments.

Loving anime, games, and manga is an easy thing to do in Genshiken. Have you ever tried making it? Love Get Chu shows viewers how hard voice actors/actresses work to make a perfect anime. It has drama, comedy, and romance with morals from the heart. You may appreciate the manga, game, and anime industries more after watching it.

Both series give you the same comforting, comedic feeling of a group of people who grow to understand and be with each other. Both series have unique characters that you learn to love.

If you like anime like Genshiken, that show people sharing experiences with another, then you'll like Love Hina, which shows the same thing.

Kimengumi

Kimengumi

Rei, Go, Kiyoshi, Jin and Dai (collectively known as Kimengumi) are typical students who attend class each day – but the last thing they want to do is study and learn. From baseball tournaments to play rehearsals, there’s never a dull day to be found; and although the men of the Kimengumi aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed, their unexpected reactions and super-deformed transformations save them from any of the incredible situations they get themselves into. Going shopping and removing snow from the garden have never been this complicated!

Both Kimengumi and Genshiken show the daily life of a not quite ordinary group of boys, that has unusual ineterests in order to keep busy and have fun, in a way that is not really socially valued.

Nodame Cantabile

Nodame Cantabile

The studious and uptight Chiaki is well-known as the top pianist of his school, and dreams of becoming a world-class conductor like his idol, Viera; but his fear of flying (which makes studying abroad impossible) combined with a recent break-up and dismissal from his piano instructor causes that future to seem both bleak and unlikely. After collapsing outside of his apartment, drunk, Chiaki inadvertently meets a young woman named Nodame who, while quite talented at the piano, is unclean, clumsy, and haphazard. Despite being almost polar opposites, the two begin to grow closer and work, together, to overcome the obstacles in their careers.

Both series is about young adults and their passing from the school life to adult life. Dealing with firends, romance and those unbelivable day to day events that make you laugh.
