Ganbare Genki

Synopsis:

Genki Horiguchi is a young boy whose mother was killed during his birth, and who lives in poverty with his father, a retired professional boxer. All Genki wants is for his father to win in the World Championship, and motivated by his son’s persistence, his father, Shark Horiguchi, decides to pick up the gloves once more. However, once tragedy strikes, the young Genki must focus on his life and his own boxing abilities in order to achieve his ultimate goal.
