As with the other Gall Force titles, watching Vandread should be a no brainer. While S1 is more of an ecchi/comedy fest than serious sci fi, Second Stage delves far more into the serious realm, just like Stardust War. Consequently, it's a lot better, so try out the Vandread franchise.

Got all the way through the Gall Force trilogy in one piece eh? Then definitely check out the far superior, far more epic sci fi title Gunbuster. While Gall Force doesn't have the mecha, the epic feel the trilogy tries to pull off is a mere shadow compared to the awesomeness of Gunbuster. It too takes place in space and is flat out better in most ways. Try it on for size.
