If you liked the humor in Full Metal Panic, chances are you\'ll appreciate InuYasha\'s position as he is forced to not only protect, but rely upon, the attractive reincarnation of a priestess that sealed him away many years before.

both series have a serious humor aspect to the normally quite serious mecha. In both Dual and Full Metal Panic is some romance story as well, which are just a really minor aspect of this series. In later episode, Dual still has it's accent more on humor than Full Metal Panic though.

FMP is another blend of schoolyard comedy, intense battles, and a bit of romance thrown in to the mix.

In a world of cybernetics, the one with the best implants win. This is a superb dark anime involving cybernetically enhanced humans within society. Great uses of originality, characters, and storyline make this a surefire series if you crave technology and robotics.

These two series are what I like to refer to as a "soldier theme" series. Meaning, that they deal with soldiers, and all the classic themes and stories. The stories usually are, fighting far away yet have a love back home to think of, soldiers who wish to die, friend vs friend, heroic tales against the odds, death of comrades to name a few.
