both of these series are a slap-stick like comady full of action a little intense drama and a stong subtle story line. each anime has a good plot that you can try to figue out for your self whail still being presently surprised by the outcome. i strongly recommend each of these to anyone who is intrested in the other.

At the end of the 20th century a fierce war raged between the Monsters and the humans. These Monsters feed on children and can turn any human who sees them into either a puppet or stone -- except for the Melos Warriors who are the only ones able to fight them. Meet Bokka, a young aspiring Melos Warrior whose only goal is quite simple: to save the Melody of Oblivion and vanquish the Monster King, once and for all!
If you liked FMP TSR you'd like Melody of Oblivion because both series have action, explosions, drama, danger, and have a normal high school student who isn't very normal. I don't think there's any reason you wouldn't like Melody of Oblivion if you liked FMP TSR.
