School Rumble 2 and Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu are both dealing with uncommon school lifes. The protagonists in these anime have no idea about love, therefore many unforseen and funny things happen.
FMP: Fumoffu? is on the same level with School Rumble. If you watch any of these series you have to laugh nearly all the time, because of the magnificent comedy, which these anime are sharing.
Wakame High School has its fair share of weirdos, and transfer student Fumiya "Fuumin" Okometsubu is about to meet the strangest one of all. Planning to make one hundred new friends, the first to step up to the plate is Masaru Hananakajima. Becoming an unwilling student in Masaru's secret martial arts style, the two embark on enrolling more unsuspecting victims to learn the "Sexy Commando" way of fighting. Recruiting Kyasharin, the feeblest strong man in the world; and Kondo, the aspiring manly man; the group embark on a voyage of moronic triviality. From an outrageous sleepover to playing the baseball Game of Honour, the team must finally pull together and remove their pants for the National Sexy Commando Tournament!
Make no mistake, these two anime have absolutely nothing in common. They are about as different as a prize winning well-bred race horse... and a tomato. What they both are, however, is a good time.
While Full Metal Panic Fumoffu hits with its somewhat dry humor, Sexy Commando hits with its... pure... ridiculous and out there humor. It would definitely be prudent for you to check out both of these anime if you're looking for quick and dirty laughs.
Kanata Sorami, a young Private in the army, arrives in Seize to serve in the Clocktower Fortress and learn the trumpet under the tutelage of Master Sergeant Rio Kazumiya. Though peace hangs uneasily over the world, Kanata finds a relaxing routine of laundry, shopping, and trumpet practice greets her at her new post instead of brutal drilling and discipline. With help from the other members of the all-female 1121st Platoon, Kanata finds her place in the bustling city, bringing joy and humor to the war-weary residents while learning a great deal about the world.
Centered in a war/violent ridden setting, each of these series brings a lot of humor and slice of life activities to an otherwise dreary place. With major secrets being in place around some major characters, these series seem to have a bit in common.
