I think you will thoroughly enjoy Bloodlust after Advent Children because the former consist of excellent animation, has a plot almost entirely driven by action, but actually has a more coherent and interesting plot. If you're looking for another non-stop thrill ride then definitely check this one out.

Venus Wars

Venus Wars

Set in the 21st century on a recently terraformed Venus, Venus Wars is the story of a war between two opposing nations, and the effect it has on a group of teenagers. Dark and gritty, with an air similar to that of Akira, it focuses on coming of age during the midst of a planet's devastating war.

Two high octane adventures that spread the story well between the importance of friendship and pure action. Both Anime show how a group of friends, and perhaps even enemies, must band together in order to overcome the oppression and greed that threatens their lives and the lives of those around them. The oppressors in both Anime care presented as greedy and power hungry, without regard for humanity, whilst our heroes, although clearly no angels themsleves, are fighting on the side of freedom and righteousness.

Expect plenty of high speed vehicle chases and many action scenes throughout, against a predominantly sci-fi futuristic setting. But both Anime are also very keen to show how war and fighting affects in every way the lives of not just our heroes, but of everyone who gets caught up in the struggle too.

For animated movies that push the envelope of CGI you can't get much better than Wonderful Days and FF: Advent Children. Even If you don't care for either story just watch and stare in complete awe at the absolutely stunning CGI scenery and your time will still be well spent.
