Fate/Stay Knight and Utawarerumono(The One Being Sung) are alike in the way that the story is told. They are both very action oriented with a seemingly simple plot, but what lies underneath these seemingly simple stories is a very in-depth story that will leave you guessing at every turn. The art style, and battles are portrayed in a similar manner in each. If you like one, you'll definately like the other.

Jyu Oh Sei

Jyu Oh Sei

Thor and Rai are twins who live on an advanced space colony called ‘Juno’. Things take a nasty turn one day when they are kidnapped by the Federal Army’s Special Forces and abandoned on the hostile prison planet Chimera. A cycle on Chimera consists of 181 days of scorching heat and 181 nights of below-freezing temperatures – not to mention it is populated almost entirely by carnivorous plants. The convicts on Chimera have found only one means of survival – reverting back to the law of beasts. For the strong-willed Thor adjustment comes naturally; but for his naive and weaker brother Rai, things do not go as well. Thor must now use all his wits, strength and courage to endure life as a member of Chimeran society, rise above the rest, and take the only ticket off this planet: becoming the Beast King.

Firestorm Firestorm says...

Both Jyu Oh Sei and FSN are fantasy series with some action mixed in. The characters proceed to grow, although seem to have set archetype roles. There are several other small thematic commonalities between these two; if you liked one, you'd like the other.

Melody of Oblivion and Fate/Stay Night have a comparable atmosphere. This is brought about by the magical aspects of the story, the way the story flows, and the way the characters interact with each other.

Fate/stay Night and Tsukuyomi Moon Phase are both stories about a strong female, and the male that tries to support her, despite his incapability to do so. Feelings of love and despair develop throughout their battles.

Both Naruto and FSN have what's important: a good story and lots of action. The main characters, Sabre and Naruto, become involved in many conflicts which bring out emotion and have an effect on everyone around them. These are great anime for action and quest lovers.
