Both Rental Magica and Fairy Tail are set in semilar worlds of magic guilds governed by a central body. Both deal with a mix of light and dark comedy with plenty of action. If you like one you should check out the other.

Shukufuku no Campanella and Fairy Tail are very similar in premise and story. They both surround magical groups of people, Guilds in Fairy Tail and Clans in Shukufuku no Campanella that get hired by outsiders to do various odd jobs that make use of their skills. All the while at least one character in each anime has some other goal of their own as well. Fairy Tail is much more action oriented than Shukufuku no Campanella however. And while Shukufuku no Campanella does have some ecchi, it's not completely unbearable so a Fairy Tail fan should like it just fine; same for the reverse.

Upgraded and re-written, the current incarnation of 'The World' gives players the freedom to find high adventure, embark on quests for treasure, and battle each other in arenas and tournaments. Player-Killers have become commonplace, however, and prey upon those weaker than they. Haseo, a careless player, was saved from such a fate by members of the Twilight Brigade - a guild with a legendary quest. Joining with the Twilight Brigade, they take on "The World" with all of its wonders and dangers. Will they find what they seek, and will Haseo be able to save those that mean the most to him from the unexplainable effects of 'The World'?

Set in a similar world of magic and classes, the environment of these two shows seem very similar. The hold many of the same elements, such as joining parties and guilds and growing stronger. While .hack//roots is more serious, Fairy Tale is very relaxed and quick paced to keep you interested.

Well, both of these series are shounen. Work as team, discover brand new adventure, even the main characters are similiar. Simon and Natsu often say a similiar phrase, an encouraging phrase. Also, both of them have their own attractions. Mecha for Gurren Lagann and magic for Fairy Tail. Moreover, among the adventures they had, a slight romance genre was tucked there. Like Kamina and Yoko, or maybe Erza and Jellal. I'm sure you'll like both of these series.

Magic, fighting and friendship. Both series have lots of action, comedy and show a strong group of friends. As I watch Fairy Tail a lot of the characters remind me of characters in Yu Yu Hakusho. Natsu, one of the main characters of Fairy Tail, reminds me of Yusuke, the main character in Yu Yu Hakusho. If you liked one you will most likely enjoy the other.
