Like most boys his age, the young Renton thinks of nothing but reffing – riding trapar waves on a board – and idolizes Holland, the leader of the renegade group of reffers named Gekko State. As an orphan of a famous hero, he lives a boring life with his grandfather until the beautiful Eureka crashes, literally, into his life. Now, with the help of his newfound friend and crush, Renton finds himself living amongst the crew of Gekko State. The errands are hard and the bullying is fierce, but with Eureka by his side, Renton just might find the courage to tough it out and even save the world!
In a world where everyone connects to an online network, pudgy Haruyuki Arita can't seem to catch a break. Constantly bullied, afraid to face reality and paranoid his two childhood friends pity him, the teenager uses online games as a way to escape his problems. But things change one day when Haruyuki's beautiful upperclassman Kuroyukihime approaches him with a mysterious time-decelerating program known as Brain Burst - there‘s just one catch. To keep the ability, he must defeat other Brain Burst wielders in Accel World, an exclusive, virtual MMORPG, and the newbie player will need all the help he can get. Eager to prove he's not a pathetic weakling, Haruyuki joins forces with Kuroyukihime to challenge fierce competitors and discover just how incredible Accel World and he truly are.
Both are ostensibly shounen titles in a science fiction setting with stylized mecha action and a romantic bent. Accel World has an obvious harem approach to the romance, where Eureka Seven focuses on a single relationship in great and heartwarming depth. Both shows involve intrigue and drama on multiple levels and a long standing overarching story.
In world where flesh-eating monsters roam the streets, only one organization has the means to save civilization from annihilation: Red Shield, a specially-organized unit designed to fight these monsters, and the only weapon that can destroy them: Saya. Awakened from a 30-year sleep, Saya is thrust into a modern world which she has no memories of, and is troubled by a past filled only with bloodshed and sadness. With the undying love and support of her family and friends, she struggles to gain the strength to move forward and regain the pieces of her shattered memories.
In both Blood+ and Eureka Seven a group of people set out to uncover the history of the female lead, and even though they expect a certain amount of seriousness, they never would have expected how deep things go.
Without spoiling anything, all I can say is that feelings of sadness, regret, and hope can be found in both.
Rumors have it that a monster has appeared over the city, and Yuki would love to catch a glimpse! However, she soon discovers something even more fascinating: a boy named Tetsu not only knows of the monsters, he has a monster pet of his own named Cenco! Yuki is delighted to meet such a creature and tags along with Tetsu to find out more, but soon the two find themselves in the middle of a dangerous conflict with another monster that threatens them and bystanders alike!
Crazy alien blobs from other worlds flyin through the air? Sounds either like Cencoroll or Eureka 7 to me. While pacing is a very different issue, one being 50 episodes long while the other is 20 minutes, and genre differs drastically, both deal with an alien race, people retaliating and everything in-between.
Having failed to earn admission to a university, Hideki Motosuwa has moved to the big city, determined to study his hardest for next year's exams. However, an unusual distraction presents itself one unsuspecting day in the form of Chii, a robotic young girl that has been discarded in the trash. In a world where an increasing number of people turn to these 'persocoms' for company, the bonds and limits of human relationships are tested as flesh manages to fall in love with the machine itself...
If you like love stories like the one in Eureka Seven then you should deffinately check out Chobits it's about Hedeki and his 'persocom' named Chii I'm not going to go in detail but check it out if you don't like it I'm sorry but very good anime waiting in this story
In a post-apocalyptic world overrun with great beasts called Filth Monsters, a glimmering dome protrudes from the wasteland. This is Zuellni, a mobile city unique for having a consciousness in the form of ‘electronic fairies’. Moreover, Zuellni is an academy where the next generation of powerful Heavens-Blade wielders gather to pit their strength against each other in inter-platoon competitions. Nina Antalk, military student and leader of the 17th Platoon, is intent on recruiting only the best; thus, when mysterious Layfon Alseif transfers to the academy, she instantly recognizes his abilities and decides he’s the perfect candidate to join her group. Chrome shelled and eureka seven both have simialar animation styles taking place on other worldly scenes where people and monster like creatures battle. chrome shelled is more of a combat/action show with individuals struggling to survive. where eureka seven is more of a conflict arising from resolution of hidden conflicts.
