Another series where high school students get warped into an alternate reality where they must fight to save the kingdom from evil.

Aimed at girls, this series is heavy on love and humor. Very fantasy related, dealing with two girls taken into a magical world. If you enjoy the fantasy genre, and can handle cries of "Tamahome!!!" every 30 seconds, this series is for you.

Saber J is a really fun series that is has similar hijinks and gags to El Hazard. That said, there's a lot more going on with this series and to be honest I kind of like it a little better than some of the El Hazard plot lines.

To me, while the series aren't exactly the same, they sort of hit the same emotional cord with me. I would definitely recommend checking out Hand Maid May if you liked El Hazard.

El-Hazard and Magic Knight Rayearth feature high school students that are sucked out of their own world and thrust into a land of magic and adventure. All of them soon discover that they have new, unique abilities. A good thing considering they must embark on a dangerous quest! Both series share a similar feel overall, so if you enjoyed one, you should give the other a shot.

Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari feels like a more modern telling of El-Hazard. From plot,  animation, character design, and even the pace of the show seem to be on par. Characters have similar personalities within both shows. Both shows revolve around a main character from another world, who play a major part in their new world.
