Synopsis:

With the Bugrom defeated, Roshtaria is finally at peace. What better way to ring in the cheer than the wedding of Miz and Mr. Fujisawa? Unfortunately for the bride-to-be, the groom is feeling a bit anxious and makes a journey to the mountains to think, which of course prompts Makoto, Nanami, and the rest of the gang to follow! And to make matters worse, Jinnai and his Bugrom brethren have managed to uncover a dormant weapon of destruction named Kalia! Will Roshtaria survive long enough to see the union of the happy couple?

Five years have passed since Goku and his friends defeated Piccolo Jr. and restored peace to the planet. Gohan - Goku's son - and a variety of good, bad, and morally ambiguous characters are back, and perpetually not ready for action! Aliens, androids, and magicians all hatch evil plots to destroy the world and it's up to Goku to save the Earth once more - that is, once he and his comrades train plentifully in preparation.  Enemies will become friends and power levels will rise to unimaginable levels, but even with the help of the legendary Dragon Balls and Shen Long will it be enough to save Earth from ultimate destruction?

Let's say that the fight reminded me a tad of Dragonball Z. The plot and character development have nothing in common though. Due the fact El hazard is an OVA, the fights will be significantly shorter, though still havet he same feel. El Hazard has a tad more humor than DBZ though.

A troublesome girl named Aun has stolen her village's holy item and has run away to marry a rock star; and because this sort of thing has happened before, her adopted brother Photon, a slightly clueless boy with superhuman strength, has been sent after her. Along the way he stumbles upon a naked rebel named Keyne (who, consequently, is being chased by a pervert who can’t seem to keep his clothes on); and Photon, not knowing the culture of the girl, accidentally engages himself to be married to her. Now, through a series of unfortunate events, the fate of the galaxy is now in the hands of Photon and his band of idiots!

There is a same fantasy-world feel in both series and at some locations similarities are found. In addition there are in both series an attempt to add some romance, though this justt diverts from the (thin) plot, though actionpacked and humorfull series. Photon is a tad more humorous, while El Hazard has more action.

Tenchi Muyo!

Tenchi was just a typical high school student with an ordinary life, until one day he accidentally released a beautiful yet angry demon named Ryoko from her sealed prison… and thus his troubles began! In a typical fashion, Ryoko barges into Tenchi’s life and home; but unfortunately, she won’t be the only one. With two princesses, a bumbling intergalactic police woman and a maniacal mad scientist entering the mix, Tenchi has his hands full. Will any of the girls succeed in claiming our young hero for her own? And more importantly, which one will Tenchi choose?

The reason I decided to link these series is due the charactrs. I go the feeling the characters have alot similarities. The plot and the enviorment is different. There is some sort of harem atmosphere in both (Tenchi Muyo having the most obvious).
