Sonya may look like a regular school girl, but in truth she’s a deadly assassin who keeps to herself. Despite many warnings not to get involved with her, ditzy Yasuna decides that she is her friend, even if it means getting her arm broken or ending up in a headlock each time she surprises the young hitman. And just to make matters worse, ninja girl, Agiri - an associate of Sonya's - also attends the same school. With Sonya resorting to violence at every turn and Agiri parading her various "techniques" at every turn, Yasuna’s school life is about to get all the more hectic... that is, if she can manage to survive in one piece!
Both series are full of crude humour. Kill me baby however has no ecchi content but shares the otaku pandering aspects that Ebiten also possesses.
Ever wanted to join an anime club but felt its geekiness would hurt your reputation? Sasahara feels your pain. Genshiken, the Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture, is an organization of college otaku obsessed with anime, manga and video games. Their daily activities include holding impromptu cosplay photo shoots, braving the crowds and avoiding injury at doujinshi conventions, and tolerating harassment by Saki, a girl irked by her boyfriend's otaku-ness! It's a perfect match for Sasahara's interests, so why is it so difficult for him to join?
Both series pander to the fans of anime. While Ebiten is a more standard approach Genshinken is somewhat more unusual in most cases. Still both series run their tropes somewhat similarly when used and while Genshinken is definetly a lot more adult about them they still exist.
Seeking a cure for his depraved masochism, Taro Sado approaches the Second Volunteer Club on the recommendation of his best friend, Tatsukichi. There he finds the help of the violent but kind Mio Isurugi who promises to beat the masochism out of him by any means necessary. Will Taro be able to survive the assaults of this upperclassman, the overly-affectionate attentions of his mother and sister, and still lead a normal school life? Unlikely. But will he get over his perverse fetish? He sure hopes so.
Both are sexually charged anime with quirky characters and rather blunt ecchi humour. Both share a decent amount of character tropes including traps, tsundere's and exposure.
There’s never a dull day in lives of the Hekiyou Academy student council! President Kurimu has a sweet tooth and neglects her duties with ease, while secretary Chizuru skillfully manipulates those around her. Otaku Mafuyu obsesses over writing online walkthroughs, and is constantly hounded by Ken, the only male of their crew and an eroge addict who has the ultimate goal to turn the entire council into his harem. Luckily for Mafuyu she’s protected from his advances by Minatsu, her sporty and tomboyish sister! Together, the five repeatedly struggle in their fight against boredom, making constant otaku references and fighting against the journalism club along the way!
Both follow a club of eccentric people with fan-service moments. While Ebiten is full of blunt fan-service Seitokai takes it far easier and gives the characters deeper personalities. Both have somewhat similar artstyles with large eyes and a hair-heavy heads.
Once a popular all girls' school, Ousai Private Academy is now co-ed due to declining birth rates. Takatoshi Tsuda, a boy newly attending Ousai solely because of the proximity to his house, is quickly forced to become the student council vice president and male representative of the school by president Shino Amakusa. Now looked upon as nothing more than a filthy pig by his female peers, Takatoshi must cope with learning about a whole new side of the opposite gender, hearing plenty of dirty sex and period jokes along the way!
Both follow a club of eccentric people with a lot of fan-service moments. Both series feature rather highly perverted dialogue and does not shy away from exposing female flesh to it's viewer. Both have similar humour however Ebitens is more generic and easier to understand to the point of being ''dumber''.
